How to Receive the Satsang — Turn Your Attention Inward
Right now, whoever is watching through your eyes, whoever is listening through your ears — look at them. Turn your attention toward them. See the seer who sees. The one who sees from within, who watches — direct your full attention to that one. Observe the observer. Be the witness to everything.
If you take my words from the outside and merely comprehend them, that is a shadow-state. Sit with your eyes closed and inwardly notice: whoever is listening and understanding these words — turn your attention toward that one. If you hear these truths with that awareness, the words from the outer guru and the truth arising from the inner guru will become clear.
Understand properly: the outer guru (me) can only tell you pure science. The inner guru is what takes that pure science, applies it, and transforms it into your real-life truth. So if you close your eyes and pay attention to that pure intellect inside, the truth I speak will be explained to you by your inner guru with clarity on how to live.
Now, seriously, with attention: everyone who thinks they must follow mechanically — close your eyes and sit upright. I’ll give you one minute: close your eyes, sit upright, absorb everything I say from within, and notice who it is that receives it and explains it to you. Watch who that is. Turn your attention to that one. Observe. Witness. Consciously listen. If you do this — whether you keep your eyes open or closed — notice who is watching from within through your eyes, who is listening from within through your ears, and turn your attention toward that one.
If you ask inwardly, “Who is listening?” and sit with your attention on that one, this continuous meditation-satsang will spontaneously transform inside you into the nectar of gnosis. If you sit like that — seeing and listening inwardly — this satsang will manifest as jnana rasavad (the bliss of gnosis) inside you.
The Single Lesson to Give Children
Understand this one truth: if this single teaching is given to children, then within 25 years the corruption of law and order will become irrelevant. Let me repeat that: if this single lesson — training children to turn their attention to the inner witness — is taught, the civilizational rot will become irrelevant in 25 years.
Yesterday I made a comment in a casual style — “Nobody can touch me.” I made it in my own style, somewhat playful. Then someone clipped it and made a short reel and it went viral on Facebook — a million views in less than 10 hours. Many devotees asked, “What did Swamiji mean?” So I will address that.
About the Puranic Lakshanas and Why I Explain Them
I was explaining the primary creation, sarga, visarga, vriddhi, raksha — the puranic lakshanas. People asked, “What are we going to do after understanding all this, Swami?” I will explain fully.
First, understand: I will not leave any Sanskrit or traditional Tamil words unexplained. I will explain them clearly in a way that you can understand in your generation — mixing Tamil with a little English so that everyone gets it. That is my commitment. First, understand the terms. Second — once you grasp these concepts — what do we do? This is what I will explain.
The Five Primary Functions and the 25 Expressions of Maha Sadashiva
Listen: the primary creation — Sarga; then Visarga; then Vriddhi; then Raksha — I have explained and started detailing sarga (primary creation) today. The Puranic Lakshana describes ten signs — dasha purana lakshana — and if you understand these ten, you will experience great freedom in your life.
Now I will explain. Paramashiva, the Supreme Being, manifests in many forms. Call them Maheshvara forms, Ashtamurthas, the sixty-four forms. The highest among forms — beyond all — is the Maha Sadashiva form. It is beyond the concept of mere form: it is the supreme form. As to the Lingam, it may not even be called a form. Maha Sadashiva appears with six forms beyond shapes, but when manifesting as a Thirukkolam (a sacred form), Sadashiva has five faces.
Those five faces represent:
- Creation (Srishti)
- Preservation (Sthiti)
- Protection / Order (Raksha / Dharma)
- Dissolution (Samhara)
- Re-creation / Rejuvenation (Punarnirman / Rejuvenation)
- Rescue from Māyā (Druvapavām? — saving from illusion)
- Grace for final liberation (Paramukthi)
— though grouped as five principal functions expressed simultaneously and synergistically.
These five functions occur spontaneously, simultaneously, and synergistically. Those are the five faces of Sadashiva. Maha Sadashiva has 25 faces because each of those five functions expands into five specific principles — so in total the Maha Sadashiva manifesting as 25 faces represents the five-fold principles applied across five domains. Understand that the primary creation expresses as these five operations, each of which then elaborates into five functions — hence 25. This is why Maha Sadashiva has 25 faces.
Why the Secondary and Tertiary Creations Exist
From that spontaneous synergistic expression, the lord manifests forms to create Brahma, to establish Vishnu’s preservation, etc. The first creation is Sadashiva manifesting. The second-level creation is for executing those functions — Brahma, Vishnu, and others are appointed for creation, sustenance, dissolution, rejuvenation, rescue from illusion, and grace.
Third-level creation: artisans and makers — those who craft the created worlds (the sculptors, goldsmiths, carpenters) — we call them Visvakarma (the creatorial aspect). These are the creators in the human sense. If you understand these multi-level creations, you will gain profound freedom in life.
On Corruption, Freedom, and the Role of Individual Awakening
Let me answer the frequently asked question: “We see corruption, social decay, law and order collapsing — what to do?” First, understand: when children are not given proper knowledge from early age, they become misled. If we don’t teach the wisdom (gnana) early on, man becomes controllable — to be governed, suppressed, and regulated by systems of rules and laws. That is the first level of mental circuitry.
There are three levels: primary-level corruption (money as the ultimate idea), secondary-level corruption (institutionalized bribes and decay), and tertiary-level corruption (multi-level corrupt networks where bribes are redistributed up the chain). This multilayered corruption persists — but the only real solution is every individual waking up and liberating themselves.
Money must remain a utility — an object for comfort in your life, like your cellphone, laptop, or bed. Money should not occupy your mind. The perversion is when you begin to weigh yourself by money, letting money dominate your thinking. That is the first-level corruption.
When you become more conscious and more of an observer, awareness arises. Your actions and the society around you begin to become clear. If you understand the three levels of corruption and the three levels of law-and-order decay, you can transform yourself into a free person.
Shadow Freedom vs. Real Freedom
Understand the difference between shadow freedom and real freedom. Shadow freedom is the license to do whatever you want — freedom to do anything — which is mistakenly hailed as freedom. But real freedom is liberation from the mental patterns, tendencies, and vasanas that compel you to act in unnecessary ways. Freedom from these manasamakal (mental patterns) and vasanas is the true freedom.
If children are taught real freedom from a young age, rather than the shallow shadow freedom, society will not collapse into decadence. But we taught only shadow freedom and created social structures that glorify it. Those who destroyed social order are the primary culprits. The root cause was the transformation of our civilization — from fundamental truth-based to shadow-freedom based — which led to law-and-order collapse and the rest are side-effects.
On Civilization, Materialism, and Control
I won’t blame the West entirely. Western civilizations have many wise people and many great systems they contributed. However, the materialist civilization — which took control over minds through mass entertainment, alcohol, drugs, and addiction — is one cause of collapse. Hitler used extreme control mechanisms; similar manipulative forces in modern entertainment have poisoned societies, making people slaves to consumption and addiction.
The civilizational damage started when our fundamental truths were replaced by shadow freedom, and the consequences followed. The solution is spiritual awakening — individual spiritual awakening. Political revolutions do not provide immediate solutions. Countries that used revolutions often collapsed into chaos. Revolutions can be exploited. The only enduring solution is spiritual uprising — the awakening of the individual.
The Three Levels of Corruption and the Spiritual Solution
I repeat: primary-level corruption — thinking money is the ultimate — was used to enslave people’s minds. Secondary-level corruption includes institutional decay; tertiary-level is the multilayered corruption network. The antidote: each person must wake up and free themselves.
If money remains a utility and you become more conscious, more and more you will observe, become aware, and then your actions and the society’s operations will become clear. Then the parasitic structures will be unable to exert their hold. Awareness transforms everything.
Children, Education, and the Urgency
If the single teaching — turning attention inward to the witness — is taught to children, in 25 years law-and-order collapse will become irrelevant. That is my conviction. This knowledge must be given to children as they grow — as part of education. Teach them the difference between shadow freedom and real freedom. If this is implemented in schools, we will see change. But even if schools don’t adopt it now, the arrival of AI makes a different path possible — because knowledge is getting democratized and open-source.
The AI Revolution and Democratization of Knowledge
Yesterday I said that poverty will become irrelevant by 2035. Elon Musk recently said something similar. Now I will clarify: poverty becoming irrelevant does not mean poverty will completely disappear immediately. The concept of relevance changes: corruption will become irrelevant; entertainment and intoxicants will become irrelevant; many things we think necessary will become irrelevant. Why? Because knowledge — including health knowledge like Ayurveda — is democratized through AI and open-source tools.
We built an Ayurvedic AI — translated and encoded Ayurvedic scriptures, clinical knowledge, and practical expertise into an AI system over years of work. This Ayurvedic AI can design diets and combinations tailored precisely to a person so they can eat large quantities and remain healthy. It can suggest combinations to prevent digestive slowdown and other pathologies. We tested it on Kailasa residents — iteratively experimented and perfected it. Now we are launching it so anyone can use it.
This democratization means the hard-earned knowledge of experts becomes freely available; it can be taken and used by many major AIs and chatbots. Legally, it might be messy, but practically the knowledge will spread, and this is good news. This open knowledge will reach common people quickly.
The Gift of Sanatana Hindu Dharma’s Mature Fruits
Our gift to the world — what we call the ripe fruits of Sanatana Hindu Dharma: yoga, Ayurveda, Siddha — are fruits that matured on the tree of eternal Hindu dharma. We are gifting them to the world freely. Yoga and Ayurveda are the mature fruits that we offer. They are not sectarian. They are profound, tested ways of life. They give tools for living based on dharma-karma, kama-moksha truths.
Understand deeply: the innovations and technologies such as entertainment or AI will make many corrupt practices irrelevant. People will find better games, sports, healthful entertainments — real alternatives to intoxicating entertainments — which is hopeful.
Time Zones, Time Dilation, and the Puranic Truths
If you study the Puranas you will understand there is more than horizontal, one-dimensional time. There are horizontal time zones and vertical time zones — what I call vertical time zones relate to time dilation experiences described in our stories (for example, story of Revathi and Gukuthmi). Modern science is beginning to study aspects of time dilation; if someone researches the distances and time zones described in Vedic texts, they could make great breakthroughs of knowledge. This is part of why we built this AI and why we cultivate research.
The Significance of Teaching Children and Establishing Social Models
If the knowledge of Puranic truths, the laws of primary creation, and the living practices of Sanatana Dharma are internalized, society will flourish. Not just law-and-order, but a flourishing civilization — not merely legal order, but a thriving civilization — will emerge.
Schools can implement these teachings. Even if they do not, AI and open-source knowledge will reach youth and bring about a revolution in living practices. The revolution will take time — a decade or two — but it will come, and this is hopeful.
On Culture, Tradition, and Misunderstandings
People often criticize traditions like the Rudra Kannikaigal (temple devadasis), saying they were exploited; then they legalize prostitution and thereby institutionalize harm. Historically, these temple arts preserved culture: dance, music, 64 arts, and rituals. Those practitioners kept traditions alive. The simplistic dismissal of such traditions without understanding the historical context is unjust. The same misunderstanding has occurred with many social reforms — reacting hastily without deep comprehension leads to harm.
The Value of Cultural Literacy and Experiential Knowledge
I stress again: the Sanatana Hindu Dharma and its living practices are time-tested, life-tested. They are not mere beliefs. When you study them, they become practical guides to living that produce strong societal health. Study, understand, and apply them. Give importance to the laws of primary creation and align your life with these cosmic principles.
The Role of Awareness and the Observer
At the core, here is the practical spiritual technique: awareness of the observer. Bring your attention to the seer inside. Observe your thoughts, patterns, vasanas, and the drives that make you act. When you take conscious decisions from the witness, emotional weaknesses and relationship problems will dissolve. Health conditions linked to mental states will disappear. Awareness-centered conscious decisions will remove reactive behaviors caused by unconscious patterns.
Start practicing this: bring your thoughts into awareness, watch the words you speak to yourself, and make conscious decisions. This single practice will trigger a spiritual awakening in your life — an anamika of spiritual revolution.
The Parivrajaka Yatra (Wandering Pilgrimage) as a Life-changing Practice
I recommend Parivrajaka Yatra (pilgrimage) as a method for spiritual transformation. If you take this pilgrimage, the initial excitement will make you start immediately, but the real work unfolds over time. Physical pain, doubt, and self-questioning will come, but if you persist for one year — facing the patterns, vasanas, and conditioning — you will get liberation from them. This dedicated year of conscious lifestyle and discipline transforms your entire life: body, mind, feelings, and prana.
The Parivrajaka Yatra is not mere travel; it is a spiritual, experiential, and transformational program. It reorganizes your life into spiritual organization and discipline. If taken sincerely, it unfolds the deeper dimensions of life.
Practical Life Guidance — What to Do Now
- If you haven’t yet married, consider spending a year on such a pilgrimage before making life decisions (marriage, career, etc.).
- For young people (18+), travel, experience different communities and living styles — I have listed 200 such places across India and communities where different ways of life flourish. Visit, stay for some days, build friendships, and observe how people live. This experience will take you to the next level in life.
- Do not rush; embedding in the lifestyle is important. Instant tourism does not help. Build trust, relationship, and participation with those communities.
The Greatest Wealth Is Not Money
When you judge wealth only by the price and number of possessions around you, you are foolish. The truly wealthy person is not merely one who has money. The truly wealthy person is the one who has cultivated the body, mind, life-force, feelings, and sensory enjoyment gracefully. True richness is an integrated flourishing of being — that is aiswaryam.
I encourage those who can: go do the Parivrajaka Yatra. Read and expand your life into the diverse living cultures. Don’t miss life by focusing only on material acquisition.
The Transience of the Body and the Eternal Core
Remember the deep truth: your body renews and changes — stomach lining renews every five days, skin renews roughly every seven years, the brain renews its cells periodically. Who you were seven years ago and who you are now — essentially, your name persists; everything else transforms continually. This awareness of impermanence — and the presence of a core consciousness that is constant — brings deep courage. There is no need to fear death. We are born, we grow — every happening is a blessing for expansion.
Final Practical Practice — Start Observing Your Inner Patterns Now
- Start noticing your breathing, your eyes, your thoughts.
- Observe the witness inside.
- Realize your body and mind are constructed by your words, beliefs, and decisions — and by consciously altering them you can change your life.
- Make conscious decisions; let awareness govern your choices.
- This will dissolve emotional weaknesses, relationship problems, illnesses linked to mind, and social conflicts.
Begin this right now: lift your thoughts into awareness, observe your inner speech, and watch your conscious decisions — and the spiritual awakening will unfold.
