How Changing Your Past (Not Your Future) Can Heal Your Body, Relationships, and Life — Thiruvilayadal Puranam

Opening Invocation and Blessings

Being in Ahambhavam (ego/assumptions), life itself will be powerless. If you have severe hatred, depression, sorrow, and frustration towards yourself and everything around you, understand that you are in the prison of the past. The only thing you need to do, the only thing you can do — you cannot change the future. No matter who teaches you to change the future, I tell you the truth: because society knows that if the strength of your Bhava Balam (power of feeling/visualization) and soul’s strength is known to you, you cannot be controlled, society keeps you ignorant of your…

Bhava Balam and ruins you. I am telling you, listen. All of your past… do not worry about the present now. Through the strength of Bhava… Blessings, everyone. Blessing all the Paramashivasena program participants in Kailasa Tiruvannamalai, Kailasa Kinivisa, all the Chit Sabha members, Rajya Sabha members, Kailasavasis. Today, for all the Paramashivasena participants in Kinivisa Tiruvannamalai, I am giving healer’s initiation — Ananda Gandha Deeksha for self-healing and healing others. All of you sit straight, holding the Atma Linga in your palms. All of you are initiated in Ananda Gandha

…and ultimate manifestation ParamashivaGurumurthy Subramanya Murthy. I bless you all; I bless that the Subramanya Homa, Subramanya Moola Mantra Homa, and Maheshwara Puja happen today. Blessings to everything. Paramadvaita praptiNithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Samarambham Nithyanandeshwari Parama Shakti Madhyamam Asmathacharya Paryantham Vande Guru Paramparam. Bowing to you all, I welcome you. I bless that you all get established in Paramadvaita. Listen deeply to the Thiruvilayadal Puranam Satsang. Truly, in this 18-day Satsang, I am going to talk about Thiruvilayadal.

The Scope: Beyond One Puranam

Not just about the Thiruvilayadal Puranam, but the divine plays (Thiruvilayadal) performed by the Lord and the science behind them. That is, Thiruvilayadal Puranam means I am not going to restrict myself only to the Thiruvilayadal Puranam graced by Paranjothi Munivar, along with the 64 leelas that happened in Madurai. The Periya Puranam written by Lord Sekkizhar, Kanchi Puranam — the author who wrote the Kanchi Puranam is named Kavi Rakshasar. Kanchi Puranam, Arunachala Puranam — along with all these Puranas, about the divine plays performed by the Lord…

…and the science behind them, the fundamental truths within them, I am offering to you. Understand some fundamental truths. The Supreme Lord Paramashiva is practically available to us even now. More than how much we are available to ourselves, the Lord is available to us. Understand well — whatever you think, whatever you consider, your original imagination: Ahambhavam (ego). The original assumption. How much your Ahambhavam, your original assumption, is a direct companion in your life…

…more than that, your Aham Swabhavam (true nature) — the Supreme Paramashiva — is available to you. Understand well. Whatever you think of as ‘you’ — that Ahambhavam — and whatever you actually are — that is Aham Swabhavam. That Aham Swabhavam is more available to you than Ahambhavam; it is the very resource for your life. Understanding this is the fundamental lesson of life. I will make you understand this step by step. Kavi Rakshasar Kachiyappa Munivar — I had said earlier — the student of Sivagnana Swamigal who wrote the Kanchi Puranam

…his name is Kavi Rakshasar, Kavi Rakshasa Kachiyappa Munivar. If we look at the entire Kanchi Puranam he wrote, we can truly understand why he is called Kavi Rakshasar — because the mind will tremble if we read and understand it. Now, even Saiva Ellappa Navalar has written the Arunachala Puranam. If you read that, the mind will feel sweet — you can enjoy it saying ‘Aha!’. Similarly, they have published the 365 leelas of Thiruvarur Thiyagaraja Lord as a book. Reading those will be sweet to the mind. If you read this Kavi Rakshasa Kachiyappa

Ahambhavam vs. Aham Swabhavam: The Root Teaching

Munivar‘s Kanchi Puranam, the mind will tremble to the point of attaining bliss. All that Param detailing and description — God is in the details. Sathyam plus details. Only to those who have accessed Aham Swabhavam can the ultimate truths beyond Ahambhavam be told. When looking with Ahambhavam… sir, understand well — your original assumption, the Ahambhavam you hold now, you did not develop it yourself. The whole of society came and dumped it on you. Starting from mother and father…

…elders, grandparents, surrounding relatives, uncles, brothers-in-law, society, teachers — all these people dump it on you. The cruelty is that you absorb all their assumptions without even questioning them. Because if 100 files come in a day, you can attend to them, verify, question, understand, internalize or reject — you can function logically like this. But if 10 million files come in a day, what will you do? You’ll just say ‘dump it all’ and start storing all those files without question.

The assumptions that the world around you imposes on you, the Bhavas… Especially the conscious attack being conducted on children these days is unspeakable. Understand well — if you want children’s Bhava Shakti (power of feeling/visualization) to beautifully manifest and function in consciousness — that is what I call Bhava Shakti — if you want to develop it, first make children read and understand books like the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Let them watch it later. Do not make them watch it right away. After reading…

…then that Bhava Balam (strength of visualization) will grow within them. How Rama would have been, how Sita would have been, how Lakshmana would have been, how Hanuman would have been, how that story would have unfolded — Bhava Balam is formed within children through words. After that, if you make them watch it visually as a movie, TV serial, or visual series, it will be useful to the children. But without giving them time to create the Bhava within themselves, being exposed to visuals before reading…

…especially the attack targeted at children and youth is social media. Addicting children and ensuring that the Bhava Balam does not grow or form within them, keeping them addicted only to what we say and making them listen only to what we say — social media was created for this kind of enslaved lifestyle. Understand well. Some people ask, ‘Swami, even you come on social media, right?’ At least I have to…

…make you understand the evils it causes, and caution you not to use social media for anything other than these spiritual matters, so as not to waste your time and life. That is why I come onto social media. ‘Wisdom cannot be attained through books; turn inward and look’ — this has been written down, and even that has to be known by reading books. Similarly, I come onto social media to tell you, ‘Do not ruin your life on social media.’ Other than absorbing this wisdom…

…do not ruin, waste, or give your life and time to social media for anything else. Now I will tell you the ultimate truths that need to be told. Listen. The divine play of the Supreme Paramashiva. Understand well — all these Thiruvilayadal Puranas, all these Puranas that tell the Lord’s divine plays — whether it is the Thiruvilayadal Puranam graced by Paranjothi Munivar, or the Periya Puranam spoken by Lord Sekkizhar, or Arunachala Puranam, or Aroor Puranam, or Kanchi Puranam

Dhusangam, Prasangam, and Satsangam

…all of these are true stories told in a way to explain the Agamanta truths to us. They are not fictional stories. Just as Vyasa created the 18 Puranas to make us deeply understand the truths of Veda and Vedanta, similarly, these Puranas are the essence of Agamanta true stories created by Sekkizhar and Paranjothi Munivar so that we can fully understand the Agamanta truths. Many opinions I shared in the satsangs over the past two days have created a big stir on social media…

…and I see a lot of questions. First, if I patiently explain these introductory ultimate truths that you need to understand, then you can very deeply understand the stories of all these Puranas. To listen to my satsangs, you need to have a little peace, patience, and deep listening sincerity (Shraddha). Understand well — saying ‘Spirituality, God, Puranas are all complete lies’ is Dhusangam (bad association). Saying ‘Spirituality, God, Puranas are all true, but they happened back then; they won’t happen now’ is…

Prasangam (mere preaching). Saying ‘It is truth, truth even now’ is Satsangam (good association). Giving the power to make it possible is Deeksha (initiation). Conducting that alchemy of wisdom is Shaktipata and Shaktinipata happening, and living it is Anubhuti (experience). Understand well — saying ‘All this is just stories, man’ is Dhusangam. You will have plenty of that Dhusangam around you. Because if one doesn’t progress, if one doesn’t understand or is not clear about something, saying ‘it shouldn’t happen to anyone else’…

…such evil forces with bad intellect will always be around. That is Dhusangam. ‘No, no, these Puranas, spirituality, this wisdom is all true, but they all happened back in those days; they won’t happen now. This is a corrupted Kali Yuga. Where can we… we are not qualified… it won’t happen for us’ — saying things like this is Prasangam. Just listening to stories, enjoying them, and turning them entirely into relics — trying to push Sanatana Hindu Dharma and Shaivism into a museum, trying to turn temples merely into tourism centers…

…without living enlightenment ecosystems within temples — this is its own category of error entirely. The Vedas and Agamas of our Sanatana Hindu Dharma are the truth. The Supreme Paramashiva is available to us continuously even now. Inside and outside, He is always there for us. Attaining Him, experiencing Him as Anubhuti, and living life expressing Him is possible. Making you understand that this is the truth is Satsangam.

The Moovar Lived the Shivoham State

Giving that power — the power to live like that — is Deeksha. Making it blossom within you is Shaktipata and Shaktinipata. You living as that blossomed state is the Anubhuti state, the Shivanubhuti state, the Shivanubhava state. I will tell you the step-by-step truths — listen. The first thing: even Thirunavukkarasu Swamigal, who is considered a very great devotee, was actually in the Bhava (state) of ‘Shivoham‘ — which is the Agamanta ultimate truth and Mahavakya. Understand well. Those who looked from the outside called them Appar, and Gnanasambandar

…and Sundarar, and Shivanadiyars (devotees of Shiva), and devotees, painting a picture of what they understood. But inside, as their Aham Swabhavam, the foremost three (Moovar) and Lord Manikkavasagar lived and remained in the state of ‘Shivoham‘ in their Aham Swabhavam. I can point out thousands of subtle, secret references in the Thevaram and Thiruvasagam Thirumurais. The important Puranas in Tamil literature: Periya Puranam, Thiruvilayadal Puranam

Kanda Puranam, Arunachala Puranam, Kanchi Puranam, Thiruvirinjavur Puranam, Thiruvarur Thiruvilayadal, Thiruvidaimarudur Puranam, Sirkazhi Puranam, Chidambara Mahatmyam — actually, I am going to talk about all these books in these satsangs. If you look at all of these, one thing will be deeply understood: these Puranas expansively and clearly declare the Agamanta truths through true stories. The first truth: your Aham Swabhavam is Paramashivam. Your original assumption, Ahambhavam, has bound you very tightly.

The Grip of Ahambhavam and the Bridge of Sleep

In a way that the grip doesn’t loosen even for a few seconds, Ahambhavam has surrounded you like an octopus. Evil forces always operate like that, sir. When an evil force spreads and surrounds, if you observe, it grabs all powers — politics, legislature, media, executive, judiciary, social narratives — occupying all these like an octopus. Only then can you be kept without awakening by divine grace. Your Ahambhavam, original assumption…

…that is, because you don’t have the time to question or analyze the large quantity of assumptions everyone in society thrusts upon you, blindly converting what is thrust upon you into your own assumption — that is Ahambhavam. Your original assumption changes. But in truth, if you look at your Aham Swabhavam in those few seconds when the grip of Ahambhavam loosens, you can experientially realize that you are the Supreme Being itself. You don’t need to do anything. In your entire day, I…

…am not even asking for a second. ‘Sit and meditate for half an hour, do Pranayama for 20 minutes, do Surya Namaskar for an hour’ — I am not asking for any of that. Do whatever you want during the daytime. At night when you sleep, if you just sleep without drinking alcohol — without consuming intoxicants — you can find that bridge where the grip of Ahambhavam loosens and you enter into Aham Swabhavam, sir. With gratitude, I remember my grandfather now. Rajamudaliyar, my mother’s father.

In the mornings, he ran a wholesale rice market. A Saiva Vellalar. Doing agriculture and selling agricultural produce was his life. In that itself, he earned wealth only for Shiva‘s service. Such a noble man. During his lifetime, for any social service that happened in the town — small or big — if you took the list of donors in the invitation, it would never be without his name. Whether it was a temple consecration, or a town festival, or any Annadhanam (free food distribution), his name was always there.

But one important habit he gave me: at 11 PM at night, after finishing all the work at the rice market and coming back, he would wash his hands and feet, cleanse himself, sit down, and do Thirumurai Mutrodhal (complete recitation of Thirumurai). Every day, he would read a section for at least 45 minutes to an hour before going to sleep. I am not even asking you to give me those last 45 minutes. Even if I ask, you cannot. If you say, ‘I will just keep poking at my cellphone, doomscrolling, and drop dead like that’…

…there is nothing I can do. Okay, if that’s how your life is, let it be. But the minute you fall into sleep, the grip of Ahambhavam loosens — that tight grip loosens — and the time you slip into Aham Swabhavam… I will explain clearly how that is. The body has stopped functioning, the body has settled. The mind has also retreated from wandering in various other things. But there is still awareness. That period is when…

…the grip of Ahambhavam loosens and you submerge into Aham Swabhavam. During that period, if you just stay a little alert at that time, you will clearly understand that your true Aham Swabhavam is the Supreme Being itself. During that time — only that time when your Ahambhavam slips into Aham Swabhavam — give that to me. Just be with awareness at that time. I will give you wisdom. Nothing else is needed. I didn’t demand anything from you. For these 18 days…

…I am asking you to listen to the Satsang for three hours — to understand these truths. Once you understand them, for your daily practice, your practical routine, I am not asking for anything else. I am just asking this: when Ahambhavam slips into Aham Swabhavam, have awareness. You can experientially realize that your Aham Swabhavam is the Supreme Being. Because if I say this, arguments will come, sir — Advaita, Dvaita, Vishishtadvaita, Shuddhadvaita — all kinds of philosophical arguments will come.

There Is No Future — Only the Past

I do not wish to waste your time in all these arguments and counter-arguments. I have experienced the Supreme Being. The Supreme Lord Paramashiva is within me as an experience (Anubhuti). I can grant you that Anubhuti — that is all. Whoever you are listening to, He is the Supreme Lord Paramashiva. He can grant you this exact Anubhuti. Understand these ultimate truths. Next, the ultimate truth I want to tell you: your past is alterable. Do not think your past is sculpted out of stone — something permanent, fixed, a rigid fact…

…or true news. History gave a small definition: history is the unending, limitless, continuous conversation between the past and the present. However your life feels to you, however your mood is right now, based on that, you will understand your past. This is the fundamental explanation for all three: social history, political history, and individual human history.

This is the basic definition. Political history is different — whoever has won now, everything is viewed entirely according to their perspective: that is political history. In society, it’s like that. In your individual life too, it’s like that. Listen deeply. Now, if your mood in your life is very depressed and dull, you will think your entire life was a hell. If your life’s mood is fresh, energetic, and alive, you will think your entire life was ‘Aha!’. How many of you understand what I am saying?

Now, based on your mood, you are understanding, viewing, experiencing, and recalling your past. Fundamentally understand: other than your memory, there is no such thing as the past at all. Your memory alone is the past. Do not think that the past is a faithfully documented archive that we go to, take what we need, bring it out, and look at it. Nothing like that. Your memories are the past. That is why, for the exact same event…

How Ahambhavam Distorts Your Memory

…brothers who were present at that exact same event will document that past differently within themselves. Listen deeply — I will give a small example. How you process facts in the present, the opinions and memories you have about the past, the memories you recall through those opinions — just understand deeply how this directly affects your present. When you look at a tree, you are not seeing the tree.

You are superimposing the past memory of ‘tree’ onto your current feeling. You are not experiencing life directly. Only after every experience is over does the mind name it and turn it into a memory. In your Ahambhavam, your original assumption, you hold an imaginary identity: ‘I am like this, my past is like this.’ That is what has bound you. That prism. Only through that do you experience life itself. Do not take the wrong meaning for the word Ahambhavam. That is…

…do not take the meaning ‘arrogance’. If you take that, you won’t understand what I am saying. ‘Oh, I am very humble, I am someone’ — that is also Ahambhavam, original assumption. ‘Athi vinayam dhoortha lakshanam‘ — a person who is overly humble is a very dangerous person; know this. Those imaginary identities you have — ‘I am like this, my past is like this’ — if you look through that prism, your entire past will appear exactly like that. This is like a vicious circle. Using your original assumption, Ahambhavam

…you will calculate and understand your past. Based on how you understand that past, this Ahambhavam will become even stronger. Relating one with the other, growing from one another — just like how if everyone feels secure and keeps spending, the economy will keep flourishing. If insecurity comes and everyone starts holding onto money, the economy will collapse and go into a depression. That is, because of this depression, they will hold even more. Because they hold a lot…

…depression increases. If they were spending freely, the economy would grow well. If it grows well, they will spend even more. This is that vicious circle — virtuous circle. I didn’t give the meaning ‘arrogance’ to this word Ahambhavam. You say you are very humble, you are the embodiment of humility — you say that to yourself — that is also Ahambhavam. Through this Ahambhavam, when you continuously look at the past…

The Saints Who Changed the Past: Puranic Evidence

…you are caught in that vicious cycle of putting yourself into depression and destroying yourself. When you look at your past from Aham Swabhavam, you will clearly understand that the past can be changed very easily. I will give a few small examples. Whether it is Sundarar reviving a Brahmin boy swallowed by a crocodile years later in Avinashi (Thiruppukoliyur), or Lord Sambandar reviving Poompavai, the daughter of Sivanesa Chettiar, in Thirumayilai

…that too — after she died of a snake bite, her body was burnt, and her bones and ashes were kept in a pot — he sang the Poompavai pathigam starting with ‘Mattitta Punnayangaanal Madamayilai‘ from that very pot. Singing about festivals, she broke the pot and emerged as a living woman. Similarly, in the Thirumarugal Marugaleeswarar temple, upon seeing a merchant die of a snake bite in a mutt, he revived him by singing the pathigamSadaiyai Yenumaal Saran Yenumaal‘. Next, in Thingaloor, Appar

…reviving Appoodhi Adigal‘s son, the elder Thirunavukkarasu — a boy who died of a snake bite — by singing the pathigamOndru Kolaam Avar Sindhai‘. We can keep making a list, sir. Next, Siruthondar. In the Siruthondar Puranam, the Lord Himself came directly, made them cut and cook the child Seeralan, and then restored his life. That was done directly by the Lord Himself. You will immediately say, ‘No, no, the Lord Himself did that directly.’ But if you look at the stories of Appar, Gnanasambandar, and Sundarar, the devotees did it, sir. Therefore, this is possible for you.

Understand the first thing. Do not immediately start with perverse arguments (Vithandavatham) saying, ‘So if I murder someone, delete my past and rewrite it, will they come back to life?’ Do not speak perverse arguments right away. First, listen to what I am saying patiently, step by step. First look at how many times you have destroyed yourself in your own life, destroy all that past, and rewrite it. Once you understand this as an experience, when that Bhava blossoms from Aham Swabhavam, and that past is…

…rewritten and manifests in the present, you yourself will clearly understand: ‘Aha! Truly, there is no need to live this life destroying ourselves over what we think happened in the past, suffering in guilt, half-dead and agonizing. We can change the past.’ Resurrect yourself. This is the first stage. After that, the power to bring back even things taken away by death or the great dissolution (Maha Pralaya) will blossom within you. Understand well.

The Four Pralayas and the Karana Sharira

When that Bhava Balam forms — which dissolves from Ahambhavam into Aham Swabhavam — when you are in Aham Swabhavam, the Bhava Balam forms within you. Being in Ahambhavam, life itself will be powerless. If you have severe hatred, depression, sorrow, and frustration towards yourself and everything around you, understand that you are caught in the prison of the past, decaying and shattering. The Bhagavatam says very beautifully: ‘Naimittika Prakrutiko Nityantiko yeva cha, Samstha sthasra kadhita kaalasya Paramatmana‘.

The aspect called time of the Paramatman creates four types of dissolutions (Pralayas). Naimittika Pralaya: occasional dissolution. Prakrutika Pralaya: the great dissolution related to primal matter. Nithya Pralaya: continuous dissolution. Aatyantika Pralaya: final liberation. These four types of dissolutions happen. Nithya Pralaya is the continuous dissolving — the daily death. Your cells are continuously dying. Every moment is constantly changing. If you immerse yourself into your Aham Swabhavam and reconstruct the past that happened in this Nithya Pralaya, the past destroyed by Nithya Pralaya

…and experience that Anubhuti — because that Bhava Balam comes to you yourself — the power to rewrite even the past destroyed or swallowed by Pralayas like Naimittika Pralaya, Prakrutika Pralaya, and Aatyantika Pralaya becomes possible for you, by staying in Aham Swabhavam over and over again. That is what Lord Gnanasambandar, Sundaramurthi Nayanar, or Lord Appar utilized. Whether it is Vadavurar (Manikkavasagar) or Kazhiyurar (Gnanasambandar) or Aroorar (Sundarar) or Appar — these powers, this Bhava Balam is what…

…they utilized. Understand well. The purpose of this entire Satsang is to offer this to you as an Anubhuti (experience). Whatever you choose to remember, that memory alone gives life to your past. Your past is the continuous re-creation you do. Repeating, repeating, repeating it from different angles, different ideas, just cutting and pasting. If you want to change anything in your life, recreate your past. That is…

The Practical Technique: Rewrite Your Past Before Sleep

…the only thing you must do, the only thing you can do. You cannot change the future. Whoever teaches you to change the future, you are just eating ‘Crow Biryani’ (being fooled), sir. Our Agamas — the Vedas and Agamas hold these ultimate truths within themselves. But unfortunately, this Max Müllerian translation, Macaulay education — without studying according to the Shastra Paddhati (scriptural methodology) and attaining Anubhuti, keeping these modern-day translations and commentaries…

…they write the ultimate truths of life, the lifestyle truths, as books, tell others, and have created massive confusion. Telling you to ‘change the future’ is a part of that confusion. Listen deeply. Only those who have properly learned the Veda Angas (ancillaries) like Vyakaranam (grammar) according to Shastra Paddhati, and after that understood the Vedas with Shastra Paddhati, and similarly studied the Agama Anga Shastras, understood the Agamas, and internalized them with Shastra Paddhati

…will understand these supreme secrets and lifestyle truths. Understand well — everyone who tells you to ‘change the future, change the future’ is unknowingly subjecting you to further sorrow. If they do it knowingly, they are cunning fox criminals; if they do it unknowingly, they are fools. There is no such thing as the future, sir! There is only one thing — only the past! There is not even a present, sir! Because if you try to catch the present, it will turn into the past. The more closely you…

…observe it, it keeps turning into the past. There is only one thing — only the past. Even this past being a ‘dead time’ (Iranda Kaalam) — understand well, when does the past become a ‘dead time’? Only if you kill it. It is not naturally a ‘dead time’. Because the past continues to have an influence on you. As long as its impact is on you, how can it become a ‘dead time’? Only if you kill the past will it become a ‘dead time’. You can kill it. The past swallowed by this Nithya Pralaya

…I just mentioned the four Pralayas, right? Nithya Pralaya is happening in your life. The past swallowed by that Nithya Pralaya — if you rewrite that past, you can certainly do it peacefully. I will tell you the method now — listen. If you change the past swallowed by this Nithya Pralaya and see its impact on your present and future, you will get that spark of bliss and excitement saying ‘Aha!’

After that, what I say will become an Anubhuti to you. You yourself will start living it. It’s nothing — it’s very simple. Because of the past, you have a stomach ache or some illness. That illness started in the past. A headache, a stomach ache, some incurable illness or pain in the body. Or some deep unresolvable pain, sorrow, guilt, or distress in the mind. All these are the past swallowed by Nithya Pralaya. Every day when going to sleep, from Ahambhavam

…when you immerse into Aham Swabhavam, with that awareness, give yourself an instruction. Everything you want to change in your past — erase it all — and visualize how you want that past to be. I will give an example. In the past, you ate some wrong food or didn’t eat properly, and a stomach problem arose. Go to that event, see it exactly…

…erase that event, create the clear feeling (Bhava) that you ate proper food, kept your body healthy at that time, and because of that, you are healthy now. I am telling you the truth — your body will be cured, sir! I am speaking from Anubhuti. I am telling you this to grant you the Anubhuti. It is the truth. Not just physical illness, sir, not just mental illness — your foolish acts, the decisions you took out of foolishness, financial losses, relationship losses. If you fought in haste…

…and lost important, good relationships in your life, or if they turned bitter — tonight when going to sleep, do this. But in these days, I have to give a separate instruction: ‘Do not sleep after drinking alcohol.’ The reason is, sleeping after drinking alcohol has become almost like an average lifestyle. What a cruelty. For whatever reason stated, normalizing alcohol and meat…

…is unacceptable. All those who normalized alcohol and meat are evil forces. Eating dinner without meat, and at least three hours before going to sleep without any alcohol or intoxicants — why do I say three hours? Because nowadays, those who drink carelessly cannot stay in that intoxication for more than three hours. The intoxication pushes them out. That’s why I say a minimum of three hours.

But it is best not to drink at all. A life without alcohol is supreme. Go to sleep with a clear consciousness — without alcohol at least three hours before sleeping. During this sleep, the period when you slip from Ahambhavam to Aham Swabhavam — the bridge period — that is very, very, very important. The time God looks at you, the time you realize the Supreme Being. During that time, whatever you think will turn into reality.

During that time, please erase the past you wish to erase, and mentally create and write the past you desire as an event. For example, if due to some terrible, unfortunate quarrel you lost a relationship and it became bitter, bring back that memory, erase what happened with your mind and feeling (Bhava), and bring the Bhava that the fight never happened — that at that time, there was a good relationship between you two, a sweet life, a sweet relationship, and because of that…

…even now you are living sweetly. Bring that Bhava. That’s enough. ‘If I do this, will it be cured immediately?’ Do it a little bit, man! Before even sowing the seed — ‘Will it sprout or not?’ Sow it, pour water, put fertilizer. Don’t dig the seed up the very next day to see if it has sprouted. Let it happen. Trust the process. I am telling you the truth — you yourself do not know the strength of your Bhava Balam. Because society knows that if the strength of your Bhava Balam and soul’s strength is known to you, you cannot be controlled…

…society keeps you ignorant of your Bhava Balam and ruins you. Try doing it. Your body will change, your mind will change. If you had that fight with someone and have this kind of problem, at night when you go into that Aham Swabhavam, erase that past and rewrite your past as you wish. Try doing it. The very next day, suddenly a call will come from them. All the bitterness in the relationship will dissolve and blossom sweetly. In a few days, between the two of you…

…even the memory that such a problem ever existed will disappear from your minds. Sir, using this alchemy of wisdom technique, I have mended many broken marriages and hearts. I have cured many cancers. Understand well. I have fixed many physical illnesses, mental illnesses, family problems, and financial problems. I am speaking from Anubhuti — listen. Because I am someone who has been continuously operating in this field for 40 years, from my experience…

…I am telling you — understand. First Chaturmasyam at age three. First spiritual stage at age five. Yogapatta Abhishekam at age ten. For at least 40 years continuously in this field, I have directly helped lakhs of disciples and crores of devotees and followers, granting this to them as an Anubhuti. Therefore, I am telling you clearly. Understand well. This one alchemy of wisdom action — this meditation of erasing and rewriting the past — do this only for these 18 days, just until Chitra Pournami, sir.

That’s enough, sir. Your life itself will change. If due to some unfortunate reasons, wrong decisions, or being deceived you had lost wealth, if you had lost your relationships, or even if relatives had died — just do what I say, sir. Do not immediately ask: ‘If I change the past about a dead relative in my life and write that he is with me, will that relative come back to life?’ Do not ask this question right away. Do it a little deeply.

Real Proof: Disciples Who Changed Their Past

A devotee unfortunately lost a relationship in his life — a relationship he loved very much. Because of that, he was broken and almost became a walking corpse. I gave him this alchemy of meditation: ‘Just try doing this.’ Because he has Shraddha (faith) in me, he tried doing it. In exactly ten days, that deceased person continuously came in his dreams, spoke with him, and because he reached an experience where both of them were truly still living together even now — he recovered from the life of being a walking corpse and started living.

What happened next is the biggest surprise. Even now, that deceased relationship has become like a guide and companion to him whenever he thinks of them — a companion to consult with, discuss his problems, and solve them. This is the truth — it is possible. If you want, I will speak with that devotee, get his permission, and project his phone number in tomorrow’s satsang. You can speak to him directly if you want. There are no paid agents here. We don’t hire people with money to promote this.

I am telling the real experiences of real people — listen. How many thousands of people have trolled, slandered, shamed, and attacked to the point where they couldn’t attack anymore — and even after that, because the Lord directly interfered, directly blessed, and directly manifests, I am not only alive but continuing to do great service to the world. If so many crores of people are still continuously following, there is only one secret: the science I teach works. This science I offer…

…is truth, it is possible, it works. That’s all, sir. Try doing it for these 18 days. Am I asking for your daytime? Listen deeply. If there is a loss in some business, money was lost in trading, money was lost in the share market, or there was a loss in a business — when you go into this Aham Swabhavam, sit, erase that past, and rewrite your past that you attained massive wealth in your business, and that you are still living prosperously with that wealth.

Try doing it for these 18 days and then come and ask me questions, sir. Your entire past is changeable. You can only do the act of changing the past. Only through that will your present and future change. Lakhs of my disciples and crores of devotees have tried this wisdom technique of changing the past, and suddenly — like a miracle — unexpected money coming, relationships reattaching…

…enmity disappearing, tumors in the body vanishing, and illnesses dissolving — they come back and tell me this over and over and over as Anubhuti. This is a science that works not just for me, but for all of you. Because of that, you can reclaim your youth, sir. The various kinds of strengths lost in your body — not being able to walk fast now — even that is a lost strength. Strengths lost like this can be reclaimed. You yourself can reclaim everything swallowed by Nithya Pralaya. To reclaim things swallowed by the next level Pralayas, a Guru is needed.

Now, the crocodile eating the Brahmin boy in Avinashi is not Nithya Pralaya — it is the next level Pralaya. To change the past of such events, rewrite those past events, and perform miracles, a great saint like Sundarar who attained Anubhuti is needed. A Gnana Purusha is needed. But the things swallowed by Nithya Pralaya — your wealth, your health, your relationships, your mental health — all these you yourself can change, rewrite your past, perform a miracle, and get back.

The Kalpataru Science: Why Western Manifestation Fails

If you had failed in an examination, change the past. Suddenly, unimaginable great intelligence will surge, and if you attempt the same exam again, you will win. This technique will offer unimaginable great achievements, great benefits, and great blossomings. Understand well — not only will I not tell a lie, but I will not ask you to do any action that wastes your time. Why? The Karana Sharira (Causal Body). The Karana Sharira is the body where you feel Anubhuti in your deep sleep.

That deep Chitta (consciousness) called the Karana Sharira — that is the bridge where you immerse into Aham Swabhavam. The Karana Sharira, which is the bridge immersing into Aham Swabhavam, creates your future. It does not know how to think in the future — it only knows what has already happened. Therefore, if you go and rewrite what has happened, it will manifest that as the future. You will not get something because you yearn for it saying ‘I want to get this’. By making your past feel that it has already been attained…

…it will manifest in the present and in the future. This is the Kalpataru science — the science to attain whatever you wish to attain. Everything else — all this creative visualization — is useless. These Western manifestation techniques — that is, without properly learning the Vedas and Agamas according to Shastra Paddhati, from this Macaulay education and Max Müllerian translated Hindu scriptures, all the manifestation…

…sciences taught are a waste. They don’t work. The money and time you give to learn and practice them is all a waste. That is the truth. Overall, this Western manifestation science is nothing else — it is plagiarizing the Kalpataru science mentioned in our Vedas and Agamas. But plagiarizing the Vedas and Agamas is no ordinary task. When they try to plagiarize the Vedas and Agamas and steal them, they cannot steal the deep, profound, highly subtle secrets embedded in them. They can’t do anything.

If anyone has heard about the Emerald Nataraja of Uthirakosamangai, you would know. That deity of Lord Nataraja is locked inside that temple. Now, if anyone tries to steal that Nataraja deity and shakes it, the temple itself will fall on them. That sanctum sanctorum will fall on them and they will die. It cannot be shaken — it is an interlocking system structure. He can only be worshipped; He cannot be shaken, moved, stolen, and taken away. That is why He is still there. Similarly…

…the ultimate secret that is the Kalpataru science residing within the Vedas and Agamas will only be grasped by those who properly learn the Shastra Paddhati and live it as an Anubhuti. All other Western manifestation sciences — all trying to plagiarize and copy this — miss this ultra-subtle secret. Because they can’t even discover it. They say, ‘Sit and visualize the future, bang your head, bang, bang!’ You can bang your head however you want; you can’t do anything. I am telling you the ultimate secret of the Kalpataru science…

…listen. As long as you remain with the mechanism of ‘lack’ (illamai) in your Karana Sharira, it will only manifest a life of ‘lack’ in the future as well. If you go to the past, erase, fix, and make it complete — if you establish whatever you want in the past, if you feel in the past that you have already attained it — it will exactly manifest as reality in the present and the future.

Lord Appar in the Lime Kiln: The Power of Bhava Balam

I am someone who built a country. With that assurance, I am telling you with truth. I am saying this with the strength of Anubhuti — there is nothing I haven’t faced and nothing I haven’t achieved. Just do this science. No matter how many enemies, no matter how many attacks they launched, I would only do this one thing: I would go to the past, delete it, and rewrite the past as I desired, saying ‘Nothing like that happened — everything is going well.’ That’s it. The next morning, the very person who came running fast to oppose…

…the power, the stability, the thought needed to oppose — all that will fall apart, disappear, and he will just start minding his own business. In the end, he will walk away praising, ‘This guy is a great man. No matter how much we oppose, nothing can be done.’ Lord Appar shows this very thing as an Anubhuti. Do not worry about your present situation. Look only at going into your past and changing it. Do it. Change it — do it for just a few days — and don’t immediately peek to see if the present has changed.

Give the seed at least a few days of time to grow. Leave it. Do not keep digging for these 18 days to see if the sown seed has grown. Do you remember the story of the three monkeys I always tell? Three monkeys fought over a mango. A wise man said, ‘Guys, don’t worry. If you plant this mango seed, a big tree will come. Many mangoes will come on it. You can all eat.’ The three monkeys agreed. They dug a hole, put the seed in, and covered it with soil. One monkey waters it daily. Another…

…monkey puts fertilizer daily. The third monkey is standing guard. Even so, the seed did not sprout. Six months passed. The tree didn’t sprout. Immediately all three monkeys went to the wise man. ‘Swami, we did exactly as you said. The tree didn’t sprout.’ He asked, ‘What did you do?’ The first monkey said, ‘I pour water daily without missing a day.’ The second monkey: ‘I put fertilizer properly.’ The third monkey: ‘I dig it up every single day to see if the seed has sprouted or not — I keep watching.’ If the monkey digs it up every day…

…how will the seed sprout? Therefore, do not dig and look for these 18 days. If you have lost any important relationship in your life — due to your foolishness or some other reason — don’t worry. At night when sleeping, during the period of the Karana Sharira where you go from Ahambhavam into Aham Swabhavam, erase the misunderstanding that occurred between you and them — or the separation, the sorrow — and write the past that there is a good relationship between you and them. You are well.

You are very blissful. You are still together in unity with sweetness. Write that past. Peacefully submerge into Aham Swabhavam with that feeling. Do this for just a few days, sir. Suddenly, you will see the relationship you thought was dead and withered sprouting back to life. A phone call will come, an email will come, a message will come, a friend request will come — something. The relationship will start sprouting. A new door will start opening. Now, about the present…

…do not worry. Through the strength of Bhava, anything can be changed. Look at Lord Appar‘s life. Mahendravarman Pallavan throws him into a lime kiln. What is a lime kiln? It is a method of destroying someone by forcing heat inside through all five senses. Even if you set the body on fire, at most it will be over in half an hour. But look at this lime kiln — it is a great cruelty. Not only a great cruelty — through all five senses…

…heat is being sent inside. It will go through the eyes, go through the ears, go through the nose, go through the mouth, go through the skin, through every hair follicle — through the entire skin. Sitting in that lime kiln… what a personality, sir! What a powerful, soulful, wise being (Gnana Purusha)! ‘Maasil veenaiyum maalai madhiyamum veesu thendralum veengilavenilum moosu vandarai poigaiyum pondradhe Eesan enthai inaiyadi nizhale‘. Understand this song a little well — with the five senses being burnt and made to boil — look at his song!

Maasil veenai‘ (Flawless Veena) — ears. He is in the Bhava of listening to a flawless Veena. How sweet it would be to the ear — his ear is in that sweetness. ‘Maalai madhiyam‘ (Evening moon) — what a beautiful evening moon! What a pleasant sight. His eyes are in the pleasant feeling of seeing it. ‘Veesu thendral‘ (Blowing southern breeze) — when this breeze blows, how the entire skin and body feels refreshed — his skin is in that feeling. ‘Veengilavenil‘ (Swelling early summer/spring) — how spring-like the mind is during early summer — his mind is in that spring. ‘Moosu vandarai poigai‘ — how a bee that has drunk honey joyfully hums…

…his tongue is like having drunk honey — that humming of the bee, that is the feeling the tongue is in. ‘Vandarai poigai‘ — if you are next to that pond, how all senses are filled with sweetness, how the mind is filled with sweetness — by seeing that pond the eyes and all five senses are utterly fulfilled. Lord Appar is in the Bhava of being in such bliss, fragrance, and sweetness. That is ‘my Lord’s, my Father’s twin feet’s shadow.’ He holds the Bhava that ‘I am in His feet.’ Three days passed, and not only did Lord Appar not die, but Mahendravarma Pallavan turned into his disciple and devotee. Without being destroyed, he changes his surrounding environment — the ecosystem of a whole country — with the strength of his Bhava! And all that Bhava

…if you observe, sir — even to mention the pleasure of the five senses, he chooses excellently. Flawless Veena. No matter how long you listen to that music, it doesn’t give sorrow to the ear, it doesn’t dull it. It is Sattvic music. Among music, the drum-like ‘damal, damal, damal’ is Tamasic music — it tastes good a little when you first hear it, then the ears hurt. Pleasures that don’t weaken the senses but strengthen them are called Sattvic pleasures. Pleasures that neither strengthen nor weaken the senses but are tasty…

…are Rajasic pleasures. Pleasures that taste good to the senses but weaken them are Tamasic pleasures. Here, look at everything Lord Appar has selected! Flawless Veena — even in ear-pleasure, it’s a Sattvic pleasure that doesn’t weaken the sense but strengthens it. Next, evening moon — the light of the evening moon not only doesn’t weaken oneself; it is a pleasure that strengthens. Similarly, the blowing southern breeze — a pleasure that gives freshness to the body. Swelling early summer — the mind that receives messages and pleasures from the five senses…

…giving freshness to the whole mind and strengthening it — is a pleasure. Bee-humming pond — giving strength to the tongue and also giving taste is a Sattvic pleasure. Other sweetnesses — some sweets — right after eating a little, even if they give pleasure, they weaken the tongue. They weaken the body. Some tastes neither give strength nor weaken — they are just tasty. But honey is tasty and can strengthen the tongue, the act of tasting, and the body.

Therefore, like the bee humming after drinking honey — the bee-humming pond — the tongue feels like that. Lord Appar holds the Bhava that all five senses are in supreme Sattvic bliss. Even after three days, neither his body nor mind was destroyed. After he came out of the lime kiln, the king and the country he ruled changing into his devotees was the strength of his Bhava! ‘Sotrunai vedhiyan sodhi vaanavon potrunai thirundhadi porundha kaithozha katrunai pootiyor kadalir paaychinum natrunaiyaavadhu namachivaayave‘.

That Mahendravarman himself tied him to a stone and threw him into the sea. Look at that Bhava! ‘Even if tied to a stone and thrown into the sea, the good companion is Namachivaya.’ Being in that Bhava, the stone floats like a raft and he reaches the shore. I am not immediately telling you all, ‘Aha — you are tied to a stone and thrown into the sea; come out of the sea with the stone floating by your Bhava,’ sir! You have locked yourself to the stone of depression — the cruelties you deeply believe happened in the past, the problems you deeply believe happened — locking yourself to the stone of depression caused by this, entirely in this…
