These two verses, if they are understood, then not only the whole Bhagavadgita but all the spiritual scriptures can be realized.

Somebody asked me, ‘Swamiji, can dead Masters teach us like Paramahamsa Yogananda, Mahavatar Babaji etc.? If I pray to them, can they show me the path?’ I told him: dead masters are not dead as you think. When they are alive, their presence had a body. When they are dead, their presence has no body, that’s all. Having a body or not having a body is in no way going to affect their presence. They are eternally alive and available to you. All you need to do is just turn towards them. When normal human beings die, the soul leaves the body. In the case of masters, they leave the body! The very wording is different. So having a body or not having a body is in no way connected to their presence. They are available to the planet always, to the whole of humanity.

Your breathing pattern cannot lie!

Today I will continue to expand on 17th verse of Isavasya Upanishad. See when the great Rishis uttered these words –

vāyur-anilam amtam atheda bhasmāntag śarīram |

au krato smara ktag smara krato smara ktag smara || 17 ||

When the great Rishis uttered this sutra, whatever they realized, what all was going on in their inner space, what they were trying to verbalize, I will verbalize EVERYTHING today. Listen.

vāyur-anilam amtam athedabhasmāntag śarīram |

First thing, understand. vāyur-anilam amṛtam athedaṁ – the breathing happening in you, every moment changes based on the thought current going inside you. When you have a guilt, it will run in certain way. When you are caught in fear it will run in certain way. When you are caught in suffering, it will run in certain way. When you are caught in anger, it will run in certain way. That is why when people come and tell, “I am really suffering Swamiji, because I don’t have devotion to you.” I don’t listen to their word, I just see their breathing pattern, inside so much of anger is there. I don’t believe your word, I believe your breathing pattern; because your breathing pattern cannot lie, it can’t lie to me. You mastered lying through your words, but you have not mastered the science of lying through your breath, which you can’t. Many times in the energy darshan, somebody who brought one small flower and offering, I will be spending so much time with them, either talking to them or asking what it is, or where they are from, attending to their problems and giving them one more flower and all that. Sometimes you will see people will talk big, big words, “I surrender myself at your feet Swamiji, you are my everything.” I will just turn to the next person and say, “Aaw, next, next!”.   I won’t even look at them or have a word with them, because I can read their breathing pattern. Understand, you won’t be able to lie your breathing pattern, that’s impossible for you. You can’t lie through your breathing pattern. Continue reading →

If you are depressed, only one thing you need to do…….

All great masters, all the great people who contributed to this great tradition, all their leelas are leelas of Mahadeva. The beautiful Hindu Tradition is the inexhaustible resource of inspiration. Even if you read every day one master’s life, your whole life you will be reading! That many masters have been produced, that many amazing people have been produced! That is why I can’t understand how a Hindu can be depressed! If you are depressed, you are not a Hindu, understand! Because, we have produced such a large number of Jeevan Mukthas, Incarnations, Jnana Yogis, Siddhas, Paramahamsaas, even if you read every day one-one of their biographies, and be inspired, your whole life you will be reading! If you are depressed, only one thing you need to do: just slap your face, wash it and get out!

In Dhyanapeetam, that is the solution I give: Wake up, Freshen Up, Show Up! And the mood will disappear, the depression will disappear!
