When you feel the past is great and the fear of death dissolves, you will not be afraid of changes. A being who is not afraid of changes enjoys the glorious future!

The happening of physical death, the happening of the present dying and becoming past, the happening of new birth, the happening of future being born – all these happen in the same frequency and the cognition with which you operate your life.

Most of the so-called developed countries are large scale prisons where you just concur with the established system. If you think in a very immature and powerless way, with binary logic, about your birth, death, past and future, you will live a superficial life. Anyone who receives powerful cognitions on birth, death, past and future gets an enlightened life. Anyone who experiences the cosmic legal opinion about life, death, past and future, lives a very intense life. I had the great fortune of living in an amazing Gurukul in Tiruvannamalai. Multiple Hindu specialists in Adi-Shaivam, Vedanta, Siddhanta, Bhakti Sampradaya fields reproduced their Enlightenment in My system. Whatever I received from My Gurus, I am sharing it and reproducing it in My Gurukul.

I will reveal about my own gurukul! My whole life is gurukul! First 21 years I myself had gurukul under various gurus and their gurukuls, from my first guru – my mother.

Mother is always the first guru for everyone because she starts teaching you the basic things of life. Then, my grandfather who started taking me to temple, my adishaiva guru, Panduranganar, my yoga guru Raghupathi yogi, my vedanta guru Isakki Swamigal, my tantra guru Ma Vibhutananda Puri, Annamalai Swamigal, Visiri Swamigal – the whole Tiruvannamalai is the best amazing Gurukul! The temple is like a practical laboratory. Each branch’s masters, specialists of each field were available in the whole city. It is literally the largest living Hindu University. Your breathing pattern cannot lie!

Today I will continue to expand on 17th verse of Isavasya Upanishad. See when the great Rishis uttered these words –

vāyur-anilam amtam atheda bhasmāntag śarīram |

au krato smara ktag smara krato smara ktag smara || 17 ||

When the great Rishis uttered this sutra, whatever they realized, what all was going on in their inner space, what they were trying to verbalize, I will verbalize EVERYTHING today. Listen.

vāyur-anilam amtam athedabhasmāntag śarīram |

 First thing, understand. vāyur-anilam amṛtam athedaṁ – the breathing happening in you, every moment changes based on the thought current going inside you. When you have a guilt, it will run in certain way. When you are caught in fear it will run in certain way. When you are caught in suffering, it will run in certain way. When you are caught in anger, it will run in certain way. That is why when people come and tell, “I am really suffering Swamiji, because I don’t have devotion to you.” I don’t listen to their word, I just see their breathing pattern, inside so much of anger is there. I don’t believe your word, I believe your breathing pattern; because your breathing pattern cannot lie, it can’t lie to me. You mastered lying through your words, but you have not mastered the science of lying through your breath, which you can’t. Many times in the energy darshan, somebody who brought one small flower and offering, I will be spending so much time with them, either talking to them or asking what it is, or where they are from, attending to their problems and giving them one more flower and all that. Sometimes you will see people will talk big, big words, “I surrender myself at your feet Swamiji, you are my everything.” I will just turn to the next person and say, “Aaw, next, next!”.   I won’t even look at them or have a word with them, because I can read their breathing pattern. Understand, you won’t be able to lie your breathing pattern, that’s impossible for you. You can’t lie through your breathing pattern. Continue reading “Your breathing pattern cannot lie!”

Based on the purity of food, your intellect gets purified, your memory gets purified, your ability to grasp increases.

Please understand, whenever my teachers wanted to teach subtle concepts…..  I should not use the word “teacher”; I should use the word “Masters”.  I wanted to complete and change the word to “Masters”.  Whenever my Masters wanted to teach me the subtle concepts, they will put me on herbal diet.  They will give me the “Arugampull” (அருகம்புல்).  I don’t know the English name for that grass.  It is a unique grass which grows near the water ponds, which is used for worshipping Ganesha.  So, they will give that juice.  Sometimes the Bael juice, Vilwa (Aegle marmelos, commonly known as bael, golden apple, stone apple, wood apple).  Sometimes Bermuda Grass.  The “Arugampulls” English name is “Bermuda Grass”.  They will give me the Bermuda Grass juice and Bael juice.  Sometimes Neem juice.  And, they will cook pineapple fruit in the night, and they will take the juice in the morning and process it with some traditional herbs and give.  This kind of a juice diet they will put me.  Of course, I enjoyed everything other than Neem juice.  HAHAHAHAHA!  They will put me on the juice diet sometimes even for one month!  I used to wonder why the teaching, means learning of Vedantha, should go with this kind of herbal diet.  One day, I asked them also.  Then they said, ‘Alright, you eat whatever you want and come back.’  And, as usual, in those days, the big feast means that “Vadai” and “Paayasam”  (Vadai = a fried snack.  Paayasam = a semi-liquid sweet dish).  That is the traditional feast.  I went and had all the traditional feast and came back.  They tried to explain some of the concepts, truths of Vedantha.  I tell you honestly, I was not able to grasp!  Then they gave me Gingelly Oil (Sesame Oil) and cleaned my stomach, and Haritaki Powder for two days.  After two-three days, again they started teaching me the concepts.  I was just like that able to grasp!  Then I understood the power of that food and that sutra which says, ‘Aahaara Shuddhi….’:  “Based on the purity of food, your intellect gets purified, your memory gets purified, your ability to grasp increases.” Continue reading “Based on the purity of food, your intellect gets purified, your memory gets purified, your ability to grasp increases.”

If you grasp ‘What is “Unmoving”?’, you will grasp, ‘Who Am I?’, ‘What Am I?’

I will expand on the fourth verse of Ishavasya Upanishad.  Please recite along with me.

अनेजदेकं मनसो जवीयो नैनधेवा आप्नुवन्पुर्वमर्षत् |

तद्धावतोऽन्यानत्येत तिष्ठत् तस्मिन्नपो मातरिश्वा दधाति ||

Anejadhekam Manaso Javeeyo Nainadhdheva Aapnuvanpurvamarshath |

ThadhDhaavathonyanathyetha Thishttath Thasminnapo Maatharishva dhadhDhaathi ||

Understand, yesterday I was expanding on why these qualities of Consciousness, Eesha, are described.  As I said, even if you describe a negative quality, Eesha becomes Eeshwara.  The moment you try to perceive, relate, connect, even to become one with Eesha, he has to grace us as Eeshwara.  Only then he can make us as Eesha.

Please listen!  Again and again, I repeat, “Aham” can never become “Shivoham”.  Only Shiva can extend himself and just take the whole “Aham” inside and radiate as “Shivoham”.  Eesha, the pure space, the Consciousness, without any attributes, you cannot even give the attribute of “Super-Consciousness” or “Super Super-Consciousness”.  The attributeless.  I can say, “attributeless” is not a proper word; that word doesn’t convey the meaning.  “Unattributable” – you cannot attribute anything.  That Consciousness, the moment you try to describe, positively or negatively, the moment you try to describe – ‘Oh, it is compassionate.  It is ever-loving.  It is graceful.’ – then you are giving a positive description.  Or, if you do negative description – ‘It cannot be realized by mind, speech, senses, where the life energy moves and expands.’ – where you give the negative description – ‘Gods of senses cannot overtake and go beyond it.’ – “Nainadhdheva Aapnuvanpurvamarshath” (नैनधेवा आप्नुवन्पुर्वमर्षत्), ‘It cannot be cut by the sword and what not’.

Understand, whether you give positive attributions or negative descriptions, the Eesha becomes Eeshwara to support us to experience Eesha.  But Eesha and Eeshwara are not two; it is pure Oneness.  Listen!  Eesha and Eeshwara are not two; it is pure Oneness.

That is why working on the Consciousness, whether during the positive attributes, or through the negative descriptions, makes us experience Eesha, the Consciousness. Continue reading “If you grasp ‘What is “Unmoving”?’, you will grasp, ‘Who Am I?’, ‘What Am I?’”

Upanishads make you live Advaitha by giving you Sacred Knowledge, Sacred Sentiment and Sacred Cognition.

Satchidananda is not delusion or illusion or imagination. Satchidananda, living Satchitananda is possible. That is the first statement I want to give about Living Advaitha.

Second: The understandings you need, understandings you need for the spiritual possibility, understandings you need for the spiritual possibility, listen, the understandings you need for the spiritual possibility is “Jnana”, Sacred Knowledge.

Sacred Sentiments you need to have, you need certain kind of emotional strength when you go through the transformation. When you start living Advaitha, certain emotional strength is required, and the intensity of the passion and emotion can be used to explode into Living Advaitha to take you to the next, next, next levels. Continue reading “Upanishads make you live Advaitha by giving you Sacred Knowledge, Sacred Sentiment and Sacred Cognition.”

Bharata Desha was ideologically centred, economically independent! It was such a powerful, beautiful, unimaginable, inimitable system!

I will continue to expand on the truths I was revealing about “desha” (“देश” ) and “nation”.

Understand, “desha”, the very concept of “desha” is from the truth of the Vedic Tradition:

|| अन्नम् बहु कुर्वीत ||

“Annam Bahu Kurveetha”.

Listen! अन्नम् बहु कुर्वीत (“Annam Bahu Kurveetha”); means, “Let us produce food in large quantities”.

Producing not just food, but everything in large quantity, and making it available to everyone as easily as possible is “desha”.

“Nation” means, even the natural things, making it as complicated as possible, and not letting the common-man have access to it, through this claiming your superiority.

Understand, there is a big difference. In original Vedic Civilization, the concept of “desha” is: “Produce as much as you can and exchange it”. It was not that in Vedic Civilization we did not have business. We had! But there was never a low value for shoes and high value for knowledge, understand? It is the modern civilization which is really caste-oriented. The moment you put low value for shoes and high value for food or knowledge, you have already made a difference between Brahmana and Shudra! There was never valuation between shoes and knowledge. The man who produces shoes, produces in large quantity, and makes it available to his community. The man who makes knowedge, makes it available for everyone. Don’t ever spread the lie that Shudras were not allowed, did not have access to education. No! No! Continue reading “Bharata Desha was ideologically centred, economically independent! It was such a powerful, beautiful, unimaginable, inimitable system!”

When You Sit, Truth is revealed !

UPANISHADS!  Actually, just every day when I come and sit here and utter that word, “Upanishads”, the way the truths are overflowing, verbalization becomes a big job!  Finding ideas is not at all a big job; verbalizing them has become a big job!

There are tons of books and tons of authors.  But, this book, Upanishads, to tell you honestly, if I have to put it a little poetically, the words feel shy to introduce Upanishads!  Words feel shy to introduce Upanishads!  If a child asks, ‘What is the size of an apple?’, you can show like this (Swamiji gestures with his hands).  ‘What is the size of a pumpkin?’, you can show like this (Swamiji again gestures with his hands).  If the child asks, ‘What is the size of the Planet Earth?’, can you show like this?  (Swamiji spreads his arms wide).  No!  This is not in any way signifying the size of the Planet Earth!  You can show, ‘This big!’  (Swamiji again spreads his arms wide).  But, that is in no way signifying the size of the Planet Earth!  That is in no way doing justification to the size of the Planet Earth!  Please understand!  So, what will I do with these words to introduce Upanishads?  I can only pull my mouth like this and say, “It is this big!’

The way they introduce you to you, the way they introduce the world to you, the way they introduce god to you, the way they introduce life to you, nothing can be compared to Upanishads.  Whether the purity of the substance they are delivering, or the poetic way they are expressing, or the very sound in which they have nicely embedded the vibrations of Kundalini awakening!  Upanishads not only have a linguistic and poetic importance, meaning, they have even phonetic importance.  Even phonetically they are important.  Actually, by the religious historians classifying Upanishads under Hinduism, they brought a great respect to Hinduism.  And, of course, Hindus are the inheritors.  It is our inheritance, no doubt.  But we need to live it and share it with the world.  It does not belong just to us.  Please understand, we might have been inheritors, but it does not belong just to us; it belongs to the whole universe!   Continue reading “When You Sit, Truth is revealed !”
