I will reveal about my own gurukul! My whole life is gurukul! First 21 years I myself had gurukul under various gurus and their gurukuls, from my first guru – my mother.

Mother is always the first guru for everyone because she starts teaching you the basic things of life. Then, my grandfather who started taking me to temple, my adishaiva guru, Panduranganar, my yoga guru Raghupathi yogi, my vedanta guru Isakki Swamigal, my tantra guru Ma Vibhutananda Puri, Annamalai Swamigal, Visiri Swamigal – the whole Tiruvannamalai is the best amazing Gurukul! The temple is like a practical laboratory. Each branch’s masters, specialists of each field were available in the whole city. It is literally the largest living Hindu University. I’ll recite 7th, 8th , 9th  verses. Please recite along with me :

yatccakṣuṣā na paśyati yena cakṣūṁṣi paśyati
tadeva brahma tvaṁ viddhi nedaṁ yadidamupāsate || 7 ||

Eighth verse: 

yatcchrotreṇa na śṛṇoti yena śrotramidaṁ śrutam
tadeva brahma tvaṁ viddhi nedaṁ yadidamupāsate || 8 ||

Ninth verse :

yatprāṇena na prāṇiti yena prāṇaḥ praṇīyate
tadeva brahma tvaṁ viddhi nedaṁ yadidamupāsate || 9 ||

Actually the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th – all the 5 verses are powerful repetition. Please understand……when a speaker, ahh Dharma….ummm…..I think Karma…..Karma is Karma…..Karma, karmunda, Karma. This is not powerful repetition.  He’s just so powerless, he does not understand what he is going to talk. And he goes on repeating something. He’s not powerful repetition. What is Deeksha or Initiation, Muscle memory, Bio-memory, Bio-energy ?

I’ll define Deeksha. Super Consciousness intensely, electrocuting…..understand the word ‘electrocuting’….your existence and raising you to the frequency of it’s existence, is Deeksha.

It can happen through Guru, through the Deity, through even a tree, river, hill, with whoever Deeksha has happened for you, He is – that is, your Ishta Devata. Understand. Deeksha means Super-Consciousness electrocuting you, please understand, it will always be electrocuting. It can never be mild 120 volt. No. Not even 240. It will always be 10,000 volts. 120, 240, all that does not really carry the strength of the word when I am uttering ‘electrocuting.’ It is only 10,000. Literally, lightning landing on your system. After Enlightenment happens, you will understand that the whole thing is nothing but the pure grace and blessing of Existence!

Nobody really wants enlightenment in the real sense! They just want it as a utility or to keep in their showcase!

Understand, God gives you the freedom to be in bondage also. Enlightenment can never be forced on you. If it is forced, even freedom will become bondage.

There are two things, qualification and wanting.

There is no qualification needed for enlightenment, but the deep feeling, the deep wanting that ‘I want it’, should be there.

Please be very clear, I also had ALL the problems that you are having like not being able to trust Existence or not being able to trust myself, I had everything. All I can say is, there is no qualification for enlightenment. For somebody to become enlightened, they do not need any qualification. What resulted in Paramahamsa Nithyananda Swamiji’s first spiritual experience

The Upanishads, the ancient vedic texts by the sages and mystics that happened as revelations, say that for the person who is initiated, the whole world is heaven.

Understand the word ‘initiation’. It does not mean doing some ceremony or ritual. Initiation means that ‘click’ happening in you. When a master expresses the truth, if the click, the realization, happens in you and if you suddenly feel, ‘O god! What he says is right. I was always thinking exactly this. He put it in the right way,’ that is what initiation is. If you feel whatever I am speaking is what you always thought about but I am verbalizing it and properly putting it in words, the initiation has happened.

Please understand, only after all the preparation is done and only when you are in the state of high intensity, the truth uttered by the master just clicks. When the master says there is no need for any seeking any more and just liberate yourself right now, you will be able to do so only if you have done enough of seeking and created the intensity. If you can face your fears, you see they have no depth!

The biggest fear human beings have is the fear of losing their identity. Even the fear of losing one’s life is not as great as the fear of losing the identity. The fear of losing your identity is much worse than the fear of death.

All our fears, be it fear of losing physical health, mental stability, wealth, name and fame, or loved ones, are actually fear of death under various disguises.

The social fear or fear of being rejected by society makes us do things to please society, even when it is not good for us. In this process, many times, we sacrifice what our being really wants to do. That fear of not being accepted by society is just another form of the fear of death. It is the death of the ego.

Every act of ours is unconsciously related to death and the fear of dying. Understanding death can change your entire perception of life. It can simply transform the way you handle all your fears. Fear is what leads to anger. Fear is the passive form of the energy while anger is the active expression.
When you are angry, just look into the anger. At the root of it, you will find a deep fear.

Try this for yourself:

if you are feeling fear, express anger at that time. Throw your hands, stamp your feet and express the energy. You will see that the fear disappears. You will see for yourself how fear can simply transform to anger. Similarly, fear can also transform to hate. You just need to be aware of yourself and witness how the emotions subtly change from one form to another. When you understand this play, you can easily get out of the game. Whatever you think as valuable, they are not even useful to you. How do you think they are useful to Sadashiva? He is not looking for anything from you. He is looking at your Consciousness through which He can celebrate Himself, He can manifest Himself!

One of the Mahadeva Rahasya you need to know, the moment you start seeking eternal love or bliss, which stays with you – understand you have received incoming call. And you need to know the individual soul, Jeevātma can only receive the incoming call, he cannot make the outgoing. If there is a seeking in you, understand, Sadāshiva has called you and you have all the right to declare – Sadāshivoham. Understand, when He calls it is always – Shivatvamasi – means He is initiating you. Shivatvamasi. Ay, you are Shiva. Ay, you are Shiva. Now you have a right to declare, Shivoham, Sadāshivoham. You don’t have to feel shy, “Oh, if I declare myself as Sadāshiva, will He not get angry, will He not check my qualifications?” No. The moment Seeking has come, you received the incoming call, pick up and talk. You don’t have to feel shy that you are calling that person. No. He has called you. You have a right to talk. Understand, you are programmed only for incoming call. If you are feeling the bell ringing in the hear, if you are feeling the seeking, drop the ego that – you are a Seeker, no.

Seeking is the secret invitation sent by Sadāshiva to be part of His secret life because He has a secret crush on you.

He has no use by you but He wants to manifest through you. Understand, ordinary human mind always thinks only in the business. “Oh, if he wants then He has something to achieve through me, gain through me.” Relax! Whatever you think as valuable, they are not even useful to you. How do you think they are useful to Him? Don’t be so stupid to think, they are useful to Him. They are not even useful to you.

He is not looking for anything from you. He is looking at YOU, your Consciousness through which He can manifest, He can celebrate Himself, He can manifest Himself. The more and more you manifest Oneness, the more and more you manifest powers; the more and more I celebrate myself in you. You become the ground in which I celebrate.

You become the Ambala in which I dance. You become the shoulder on which I rest. You become the lap on which I put My foot. You become the Adi Shesha where I do Yoga Nidra. auṃ āpyāyantu mamāṇgāni vākprāṇaścakśuḥ śrotram-athobalam-indriyāṇi ca sarvāṇi |
sarvaṁ brahmopaniṣadam mā’ham brahma nirākuryām mā mā brahma  nirākarod-anirākaraṇamstva-nirākaraṇam me’stu |
tadātmani nirate ya upaniṣatsu dharmāste mayi santu te mayi santu ||

oṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ||

I was explaining about the power of declaration. Today, not only the power of declaration, we are going to make itself is something extraordinary, beautiful.

sarvam brahmopanishadam |

Please understand, first thing Upanishadic Rishis are making a WILL. First thing they are teaching you is, strengthen your limbs, listening, seeing, body, mind, vital life-energy, strengthening all of that, create a will to mature and strengthen your body and mind. 

Next, sarvam brahmopanishadam |

Understand, whatever exists is consciousness including what you don’t like in the life.

People say, “everything is okay”, but who invented this examination and office? When you are a child you think, “everything is okay.” When you think everything is okay, who invented this office; even the things you feel you don’t like, not part of you remember – sarvam brahmopanishadam – everything is Consciousness – means you made everything in your life, you made everything in your life. Understand, I am not talking this idea that – you made everything in your life – as a philosophy, moral, no! I am talking, I am uttering these words, as the simple facts you need to know, the truth you need to be informed before you strategize about your future existence. Upanishads are not do’s and don’ts but the thought currents you need to cherish, enjoy, entertain for higher intelligence to happen in you!

Introducing Kenopanishad. Somebody asked me, “Human beings are just developed monkeys, but how we are able to perceive so much about the Universe, Planets, Space? How we are able to understand so much about all this? Why other animals, even the closest version of us, chimpanzees, are not able to catch, understand things about Universe. Why human beings are able to understand perceive, even manipulate, as we want? Already we have space stations, some of the big rocks coming towards the Planet Earth we can blast it or redirect it from there itself. Already we are able to manipulate movements in the space. How?

Please understand, because only human beings started asking the question – keneśitaṁ – by whom? This Upanishad is responsible for keeping one of the most important, powerful thought current responsible for human intelligence. Please understand, few of the thought currents responsible for why human beings are the way they are. Listen, few of the thought currents—why the human beings are the way they are.

The first thought current—“Who am I?”

Second – “What happens after death?”

Third, most subtle, most precious, most important thought current—“What is the source of all this?” What happens after death? — that thought current was kept alive in the humanity.

Please understand, no Upanishad is a conclusion.

I wanted you to understand this Truth. Neither Isha nor Kena, or Katha, or Mundaka, or Mandukya. No Upanishad is conclusion. That’s the beauty. Seeking thought currents consolidated for further research is Upanishads. Understand, it is not answer. The whole Isavasya Upanishad you won’t get a single answer. These are some of the thesis proposed, some of the thought currents needed to be cherished, pondered upon, thought about, those thought currents will give you 1000 question 2000 answers. But those thought currents need to be kept alive; for your next generation they may give 10,000 questions and 20,000 answers. Whatever you hold with fear of losing it, precisely that will be taken away from you!

Please understand, the perception evolving, evolution of the perception is a gift happening to you, which is just happening from Perception to Fact, Fact to Truth, Truth to Reality. And anybody who stops the evolution of perception commits spiritual suicide, “Atma Hathya”, understand? “Atma Hathya”, that is the word I will use. Killing the soul, the possibility! Killing the soul and possibility! I am telling you, not to frighten you, not to correct you, not to control you, not even I am interested in guiding you. And I know nobody listens to me! After talking twelve-thousand hours last fifteen years, I am very clear on my conclusion that nobody listens to me! I am talking for me to listen to me, understand? With this clarity I am declaring this truth. Upanishads just declare their own strength by their own statements. They don’t need any author to authenticate them. Same way, whatever I am talking, the dharma, the truth, I am revealing it for myself! The listener’s listening does not need to authenticate what is being uttered. With this clarity I am uttering these words:

Listen!

WHATEVER YOU HOLD WITH FEAR OF LOSING IT, EXACTLY THAT WILL ONLY BE TAKEN AWAY FROM YOU!

I am telling you…..

People ask me, ‘What is this, Swamiji! I am such a good person. I never cheated anybody. But my wealth is taken away. But these guys who cheat everyone, their wealth and all is not taken away. When You Sit, Truth is revealed !

UPANISHADS!  Actually, just every day when I come and sit here and utter that word, “Upanishads”, the way the truths are overflowing, verbalization becomes a big job!  Finding ideas is not at all a big job; verbalizing them has become a big job!

There are tons of books and tons of authors.  But, this book, Upanishads, to tell you honestly, if I have to put it a little poetically, the words feel shy to introduce Upanishads!  Words feel shy to introduce Upanishads!  If a child asks, ‘What is the size of an apple?’, you can show like this (Swamiji gestures with his hands).  ‘What is the size of a pumpkin?’, you can show like this (Swamiji again gestures with his hands).  If the child asks, ‘What is the size of the Planet Earth?’, can you show like this?  (Swamiji spreads his arms wide).  No!  This is not in any way signifying the size of the Planet Earth!  You can show, ‘This big!’  (Swamiji again spreads his arms wide).  But, that is in no way signifying the size of the Planet Earth!  That is in no way doing justification to the size of the Planet Earth!  Please understand!  So, what will I do with these words to introduce Upanishads?  I can only pull my mouth like this and say, “It is this big!’ 

The way they introduce you to you, the way they introduce the world to you, the way they introduce god to you, the way they introduce life to you, nothing can be compared to Upanishads.  Whether the purity of the substance they are delivering, or the poetic way they are expressing, or the very sound in which they have nicely embedded the vibrations of Kundalini awakening!  Upanishads not only have a linguistic and poetic importance, meaning, they have even phonetic importance.  Even phonetically they are important.  Actually, by the religious historians classifying Upanishads under Hinduism, they brought a great respect to Hinduism.  And, of course, Hindus are the inheritors.  It is our inheritance, no doubt.  But we need to live it and share it with the world.  It does not belong just to us.  Please understand, we might have been inheritors, but it does not belong just to us; it belongs to the whole universe!   Continue reading “When You Sit, Truth is revealed !”
