If you grasp ‘What is “Unmoving”?’, you will grasp, ‘Who Am I?’, ‘What Am I?’

I will expand on the fourth verse of Ishavasya Upanishad.  Please recite along with me.

अनेजदेकं मनसो जवीयो नैनधेवा आप्नुवन्पुर्वमर्षत् |

तद्धावतोऽन्यानत्येत तिष्ठत् तस्मिन्नपो मातरिश्वा दधाति ||

Anejadhekam Manaso Javeeyo Nainadhdheva Aapnuvanpurvamarshath |

ThadhDhaavathonyanathyetha Thishttath Thasminnapo Maatharishva dhadhDhaathi ||

Understand, yesterday I was expanding on why these qualities of Consciousness, Eesha, are described.  As I said, even if you describe a negative quality, Eesha becomes Eeshwara.  The moment you try to perceive, relate, connect, even to become one with Eesha, he has to grace us as Eeshwara.  Only then he can make us as Eesha.

Please listen!  Again and again, I repeat, “Aham” can never become “Shivoham”.  Only Shiva can extend himself and just take the whole “Aham” inside and radiate as “Shivoham”.  Eesha, the pure space, the Consciousness, without any attributes, you cannot even give the attribute of “Super-Consciousness” or “Super Super-Consciousness”.  The attributeless.  I can say, “attributeless” is not a proper word; that word doesn’t convey the meaning.  “Unattributable” – you cannot attribute anything.  That Consciousness, the moment you try to describe, positively or negatively, the moment you try to describe – ‘Oh, it is compassionate.  It is ever-loving.  It is graceful.’ – then you are giving a positive description.  Or, if you do negative description – ‘It cannot be realized by mind, speech, senses, where the life energy moves and expands.’ – where you give the negative description – ‘Gods of senses cannot overtake and go beyond it.’ – “Nainadhdheva Aapnuvanpurvamarshath” (नैनधेवा आप्नुवन्पुर्वमर्षत्), ‘It cannot be cut by the sword and what not’.

Understand, whether you give positive attributions or negative descriptions, the Eesha becomes Eeshwara to support us to experience Eesha.  But Eesha and Eeshwara are not two; it is pure Oneness.  Listen!  Eesha and Eeshwara are not two; it is pure Oneness.

That is why working on the Consciousness, whether during the positive attributes, or through the negative descriptions, makes us experience Eesha, the Consciousness. Continue reading “If you grasp ‘What is “Unmoving”?’, you will grasp, ‘Who Am I?’, ‘What Am I?’”

Perception, Fact, Truth, Reality

ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् ।
Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath |

Whatever is moving in the moving world is enveloped by Consciousness

I should use the word “filled”. Even “enveloped” is an incomplete word. “Filled”! “Enveloped” means, something which is getting enveloped is away from what is enveloped. No!

Listen! “Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath” (यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत्) – “Whatever you think as moving in ever-moving world” – it means, “moving”, “change”, is your perception and factual. Listen! Many times your perception is not factual, your factual is not truth, your truth is not reality. Listen! I am organizing words – Perception, Fact, Truth, Reality.

· PERCEPTION: Earth is flat. Sun goes around the Earth.

· FACT: Earth is round. Earth only is going around the Sun.

· TRUTH: Listen! Earth is not exactly round. And, Sun is going around the Earth.

· REALITY: How the Earth looks, see it from Google map. And Earth and Sun both are going around each other! Continue reading “Perception, Fact, Truth, Reality”

Throughout My life, I was, I am, I will be always authentically enriching, empowering people continuously.

When I am trying to expand on Upanishads, even I feel I am not using enough words! It is like it is not adequate. Saraswathi may be eloquent, but not adequate to translate the silence of Mahadeva. Translating the silence of Mahadeva, even Saraswathi feels inadequate! She may be eloquent in front of anything, but inadequate in front of Mahadeva’s silence. Upanishads are Mahadeva’s silence. Translating that into words! It is only by Mahadeva’s grace I can translate, translate, translate his silence into words and deliver, understand?

I was expanding on the concept of “nation” and “desha” (“देश” ). When decision-makers, whether in the field of business or ruling, when decision-makers are out of fear and greed, it is all about producing in mass and sharing with the world. When the decision-makers are caught in fear and greed, then it is all going to be about possessing and controlling. Wealth, handled with incompletion, will lead to possessiveness. Power, handled with incompletion, will become controlling. A powerless man, when he is given power, he will only be controlling. A poor man, when he is given wealth, he will only be possessing. A poor man does not even know how to live with wealth, I am telling you. He will just make a big godown, iron godown, a thick wall iron godown, put everything inside, and lock it, and sleep on it! That’s all! And die! Is this the purpose of wealth? And his whole life he will spend worrying, ‘Will anybody know what I am keeping under my bed? And will anybody steal it?’ A poverty-conscious man, even if he stumbles on wealth, he cannot live it. A poor man, incomplete man, even if he sees wealth, he is not going to enjoy it, live it. He may possess it, but he may not live it! Same way, a powerless man, frightened, fear-based person, even if he is given power, he will only be controlling it, he will not be expanding it. A person established in Completion, in the space of Completion, even if he does not have wealth, he knows how to create and live. A person based on Completion, even with the small powers which are available to him, he knows how to enrich people with power. Enriching people with power!

Completion-based lifestyle!

I am telling you, constantly empower yourself!

Constantly empower yourself!

Constantly empower yourself!

Have power and go on empowering people with power. And, I tell you, in which ever field you empower people, you will only become more and more powerful. Only by producing more musicians, you will become a great musician. Only by producing more dancers, you will become a great dancer! Only by producing more doctors, you will become a great doctor! Only by producing more rich people, you will become a richer person! Only by producing more leaders, you will be a great leader! Only by producing more enlightened beings, you will be an INCARNATION! First, foremost, and final words given to the universe from the Universe, given to humanity from the Cosmos

Listen! This is the first and foremost, and final word! Upanishads are not like Science, every day developing. For example, today a scientist will come and declare something as truth. Everyone will agree. That will be considered as truth. People will make their life’s decisions, align everything based on that truth. In ten years, another scientist will come and prove that whole thing as false and declare something else as truth. Then people will align their lives to that. And then, after five years, somebody else will come and declare that as a lie and prove something else as truth. Understand, if the truth is going to be changing tomorrow, it is not truth even today. Upanishads are not like science which is evolving or changing. It is like a scientist carries a lantern in a thick forest and tells the truths about the forest to the world, ‘There are ten trees, two snakes, and….dark.’ When you walk further, ‘No, no, the forest is not just ten trees and two snakes; it is more than twenty-five trees, and two elephants.’ When you walk further, ‘No, no, no, no, no, it is not even twenty-five trees. Trees, trees, trees! Any side we turn the lantern, it is trees, trees, trees all around, and different types of animals!’ This is what is Science! But, Upanishads are a Rishi sitting and seeing the whole forest in a flash of lightning and describing it! Understand, the lantern descriptions will always change; but the Rishi sitting in the peak of the hill, seeing the whole thing in one flash of lightning, and penning it down, is Upanishads! Understand the difference between these two. Upanishads are the first, foremost, and final word on truth! First, foremost, and final word on truth!

Nothing, nothing like Upanishads declare all the truths in so close a way to the heart, in such a closer way to the heart. Such a beautiful way to live! User-friendly! Continue reading “First, foremost, and final words given to the universe from the Universe, given to humanity from the Cosmos”

When You Sit, Truth is revealed !

UPANISHADS!  Actually, just every day when I come and sit here and utter that word, “Upanishads”, the way the truths are overflowing, verbalization becomes a big job!  Finding ideas is not at all a big job; verbalizing them has become a big job!

There are tons of books and tons of authors.  But, this book, Upanishads, to tell you honestly, if I have to put it a little poetically, the words feel shy to introduce Upanishads!  Words feel shy to introduce Upanishads!  If a child asks, ‘What is the size of an apple?’, you can show like this (Swamiji gestures with his hands).  ‘What is the size of a pumpkin?’, you can show like this (Swamiji again gestures with his hands).  If the child asks, ‘What is the size of the Planet Earth?’, can you show like this?  (Swamiji spreads his arms wide).  No!  This is not in any way signifying the size of the Planet Earth!  You can show, ‘This big!’  (Swamiji again spreads his arms wide).  But, that is in no way signifying the size of the Planet Earth!  That is in no way doing justification to the size of the Planet Earth!  Please understand!  So, what will I do with these words to introduce Upanishads?  I can only pull my mouth like this and say, “It is this big!’

The way they introduce you to you, the way they introduce the world to you, the way they introduce god to you, the way they introduce life to you, nothing can be compared to Upanishads.  Whether the purity of the substance they are delivering, or the poetic way they are expressing, or the very sound in which they have nicely embedded the vibrations of Kundalini awakening!  Upanishads not only have a linguistic and poetic importance, meaning, they have even phonetic importance.  Even phonetically they are important.  Actually, by the religious historians classifying Upanishads under Hinduism, they brought a great respect to Hinduism.  And, of course, Hindus are the inheritors.  It is our inheritance, no doubt.  But we need to live it and share it with the world.  It does not belong just to us.  Please understand, we might have been inheritors, but it does not belong just to us; it belongs to the whole universe!   Continue reading “When You Sit, Truth is revealed !”
