People ask me, ‘Swamiji, why is nature so cruel? Why are there natural disasters? Why do young children die?’ The answer is what Kṛṣṇa gives here. Nature goes about its job without any thought about what the end result will be. What happens will happen. It is bound to happen. Nature follows its dharma, its path of righteousness. The problem is that we do not understand the laws of nature; we measure natural actions by our yardstick of logic.Continue reading →

Understand, all the Sampradayas of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, I call it ‘Omkara Parivara’; means, all the Sampradayas which accept ‘OM.’ Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Shakta, Shaiva, Vaishnava, all the Sampradayas, which accept ‘Omkara’, the Omkara Parivara, accept this three things. Understand, Hinduism is a open architecture, that is our strength; because the future is going to be only for the open architecture religions. The closed thought currents have already reached the expiry date. They are waiting to be buried. They don’t have future. It’s only the open architecture thought currents are going to be surviving. That is why I say only Sanatana Hindu Dharma has a future. Understand, that is why, again and again, I am repeating – Only Sanatana Hindu Dharma has a future. Continue reading →
Until the age of thirteen, Raghupati Yogi prepared my body and mind to enter into and stay in the experience of enlightenment. Entering into the experience, having a glimpse of the no-mind state, having that experience of satori and unclutching is actually not very difficult. But to remain in the experience and more importantly, to express that energy though your body, both your body and mind needs to be prepared.
Yoga thus prepared my body for holding the ultimate energy of enlightenment.
On some days, Raghupati Yogi would ask me to sit still and be very peaceful, to meditate on stillness, peace and tranquility. Then after ten minutes, he would suddenly tell me to stand up and run around the entire temple as fast as I could!
He would make me bend this way and that way. In the temple where he would teach me yoga, there were twenty to thirty pillars. He would make me climb every stone pillar and come down. Also I had to use only one hand to climb the pillars and come down!
Understand, doing asanas for solving a disease is not the purpose of yoga!
Yoga is a state of being. When the mind ceases to exist, you reside in the state of yoga, the state of no-mind, the state of ultimate consciousness or enlightenment.
When the state of no-mind and pure consciousness is experienced, you undergo a complete psychological revolution related to the understanding and experience of the self (jeeva), the world (jagat) and god (ishwara). You realize through experience that these three entities are not separate but one whole. Both the world and god are experienced within you. Continue reading →
Yoga is not about physical fitness alone. It is also to help prepare the body for realizing the aim of uniting body, mind and spirit. Nithya Yoga is the technique designed in the body language of Patanjali for this uniting. In the same manner as we spoke about Nithya Dhyaan amongst meditations, Nithya Yoga is the yoga for the jet age.
Patanjali, the father of the ancient science of yoga, says at the very start of the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, which is the foundational scripture of Yoga:
“Yogaha chitta vritti nirodhaha” Continue reading →
Many people think meditation involves blindly believing in something. People fear this. They come and tell me, ‘I am afraid that I might get too attached to meditation.’ Understand, meditation itself is nothing but removing your attachment! So you can’t get too attached to it.
Meditation is all about changing the inner software.
People are also afraid that their desires, fears and whatever else they think of as their life will be taken away from them if they start meditating. In a way this is true! Once you start meditating, whatever you thought of as your life until then, will no longer be important to you! The real truths will start revealing themselves to you. All the illusions you were holding until then will start leaving you. All the time you are trying to protect yourself from the basic truths only because you are afraid of losing your illusions about life. Continue reading →

Let me have Completion. Understand, the most powerful Completion process is your Will and your Declaration. Your WILL, with a powerful, integrated will, declaring it, is the ultimate Completion technique.
If you are not ready to do that, then you need to be tortured with mirror. Gazing at your own face in the worst sufferings and worries in the mirror again and again is the most horror movie you would have ever seen in your life. I think many of the IA grads can really understand and connect immediately with what I am saying. In all the horrible moods of your past expressing through your face, you have to be gazing at the mirror. That’s the most horror movie. Its not a technique, it’s a method to terrorize you. So your WILL is awakened, you declare Completion, understand.
At least 200 techniques Sadāshiva is giving for Completion for various incompletions and various methods, process, procedures, systems, techniques for various background people and various genders for variety of people. But let Me put it on record – the most powerful, most powerful completion technique is – DECLARING WITH YOUR WILL.
Swamiji opens up about Yoga and shares the things you have never been told about yoga.
Yoga did not originate from Patanjali, as many people think.
Patanjali is the organizer, not originator. With all my respect to Patanjali, at least 50.000 years before Patanjali, a being walked on the earth assuming the human form, just like all of us, Adi Guru Sadashiva, is the founder of the original yoga system. There is enough detailed description, including yoga postures and breathing methods, written directly by Sadashiva. Knowing the original source and original author is very important for keeping the purity of a tradition or knowledge branch. Knowing the originator, founding father, his intentions, revelations, knowledge about that is too important. Any knowledge branch will be only complete if intentions of author are revealed to the person studying.
Second, which you have never been told, which you need to be aware. Always, as per original source, any practice you are asked to do …, original sources are available. Please understand, people who try to establish themselves as a branch of yoga have messed up yoga. Continue reading →
Kena Upanishad’s shanti mantra, I was introducing yesterday’s satsang. Let’s recite the shanti mantra and enter into the understanding.
auṃ āpyāyantu mamāṇgāni vākprāṇaścakśuḥ śrotram-athobalam-indriyāṇi ca sarvāṇi |
sarvaṁ brahmopniṣadam mā’ham brahma nirākuryām mā mā brahma nirākarod-anirākaraṇamstva-nirākaraṇam me’stu |

Two important truths I want you to learn. First, the Vedic way of living, Vedic lifestyle starts with peace, ends with peace. All the knowledge we generated, please understand, we had everything and much more what modern science has produced now. Whether it is jet plane, rocket, missiles, nuclear weapons, chemical weapons, we had everything and much more in Vedic age, Vedic era, but we were very clear – it’ll only be for peace, it’ll only be for peace. Understand, we start peace, end with peace; whether it is rituals, ceremonies, teaching, knowledge transmission, everything, everything, knowledge is only for peace.
Only one big crime the modern day Hindus did, they think – peace is important so let’s avoid conflicts. No! By avoiding conflict you will never be in peace. By avoiding conflict, if you try to be in peace, naturally the other forces will push you, push you, push you to the corner till you become non-existent. Avoiding the conflicts is not methodology for peace.Right methodology for peace, facing it, solving it.
Peace is the purpose, that does not mean that we are afraid of conflicts. Peace is the purpose, does not mean that we are afraid of conflicts. Peace is purpose, does not mean we are powerless to handle conflicts. That is one of the biggest crime the modern day Hindus did, trying to avoid conflicts to have peace. That is why modern day Hindus lost their backbone.
Peace is the purpose, but not avoiding the conflict, but by facing and resolving it.
Mahadeva described these four components beautifully. Charya, Kriya, Yoga, Jnana.
Charya means lifestyle. It starts from the personal hygiene, keeping the place clean and keeping your inner-space clean, everything. Everything put together is Charya, lifestyle. How you should wake-up? How you should brush your teeth, wash yourself, take bath? Everything. From the time you wake up till you go to bed, purifying your whole muscle-memory is what Mahadeva is teaching through Charya.
Kriya means the spiritual process, the spiritual process. Please understand: Agama is the only science, even though ‘science’ is a small word, I am using that word. Agama is only spiritual inner-science to manifest anything you want as Reality.
If you want to bring God into a stone and want to make Him live in that stone, there is a kriya, there is a process.
If you want to heal your stomach pain, there is a kriya, there is a process. If you want to heal somebody’s cancer, there is a kriya, there is process.
If you want to bring rain, there is a kriya, there is process.
If you want to stop the rain, there is a kriya, there is process.
If you want to bring the Sun, there is a kriya. If you want to stop the Sun, there is a kriya.
Everything, everything you can achieve it, through these certain kriyas, processes. You many not do all the Kriyas, but knowing that science and few kriyas, helps you to manifest the reality as you wanted; to manifest the reality as you wanted. Continue reading →
