Shift your exaggeration pattern towards something which can never be exaggerated, God or Guru, because you exaggerate only which you feel as You!

Guru is nothing but the expression of God, demanding you to shift that hope for exaggeration on Divine.

Guru is nothing but the statement given to you by God, ‘Hey, Shift!’ Guru is statement of God.

God is state of Guru. Guru is statement of God. God is state of Guru.

State just gives the statement. State just gives the statement – ‘Shift! You have suffered enough with exaggerations on you. Shift now! I am here to liberate you from this need of exaggeration, to wake you up to the reality which can never be exaggerated, which is too big. You need to experientially see something with “Aaah!” to shift your pattern of exaggeration centered on you to centered on something else. That is when Guru appears and gives you the feeling “Aaaah!” Even after Guru happens in your life, don’t miss that opportunity of “Aaaah!”, that shift. Blessed are those who experience that shift! Because, they wake up! They wake up! They wake up!

If you study the whole Shiva Purana or Leelas of Mahadeva in Madurai, everything, everything is all about just giving you the experience of “Aaaah!”, and shifting your ever-exaggeration pattern from you to him. That is all! That is all! Otherwise, how will you call taking away the two eyes of an hunter, poor fellow, because he believed you, taking away his eyes, how will you call that as love? How will you call this old lady’s food you eat and then don’t work, that as love? But it is all love! Only if you shift, you will understand: IT IS LOVE! IT WAS LOVE! IT WILL BE LOVE! Continue reading “Shift your exaggeration pattern towards something which can never be exaggerated, God or Guru, because you exaggerate only which you feel as You!”

The moment you open your mouth, if all your exaggeration is moving around either towards your God or Guru, you are one of the richest beings in the Planet Earth!

The Advaitha, please listen, Oneness becomes your reality with the Love Current of Mahadeva. Please understand, when you authentically experience Love Current of Mahadeva, the Oneness you experience will continue to keep you retain the juice of celebrating Mahadeva, understand? Today, I wanted to expand on some of the most subtle points.

यस्मिन् सर्वाणि भूतान्यात्मैवाभूद् विजानतः ।
तत्र को मॊहः कः शॊक एकत्वमनुपश्यतः ॥
Yasmin SarvaaNi Bhoothaani Aathmaivaabhoodh Vijaanathaha |
Tathra Ko Mohaha Kah Shoka Ekathvam Anupashyathaha ||

“In one who has cognized the reality, all existing beings become the very Self. Then what delusion, what sorrow of incompletion can there be for that Seer living in the space of Oneness, Living Advaitha?”

Listen! The Love Current of Mahadeva leads you to Oneness experience. After that, after the experience of Oneness, the way you live will be the Love Current of Mahadeva, understand? Love is not just a path for experiencing Oneness. After experience the Oneness, the utility value of life itself is Love. If you start practicing love now, meditating on Love Current of Mahadeva, you will experience Oneness, and after experiencing Oneness, the way you operate, the way you cognize, the way you move, the way you live, the way you exist, the whole thing will be same Love in a different dimension.

Always there is a conflict between Advaithis and Bhakthas. Always Advaithis declare these Bhakthas as “Leelavaadhis”: ‘All the time talking about devotion, devotion; they never experience the Oneness.’ And, always these Bhakthas go on criticizing these Advaithis as “Mayavaadhis”, delusionists: ‘They don’t celebrate devotion and love.’ And there is also a subtle deep fear that if you experience Oneness, you may lose the devotion; it may all become all “Me”, “Me”, “Me”, “Me”. From the side of devotees, they feel, ‘Oh, if we experience Oneness, it will all become “Me”, “Me”, “Me”. Devotion will be lost.’ From the Advaithis, ‘Oh, if I experience devotion, that is all! The state I am in, I may lose it! I will fall into duality!’ It is such a stupid misunderstanding! Discovering the context of Imperishable for all the major decisions of your life is Living Enlightenment

I will expand on Isavasya Upanishad. Usually when I come to Varanasi I speak on Kathopanishad. This time I decided I will continue on Isavasya Upanishad because last time we couldn’t spend much time on Kathopanishad. I was expanding on 14th verse of Isavasya Upanishad.

sambḥutiṁ ca vināśaṁ ca..

Actually I am uttering only one word. One word easily you all can recite. Listen and repeat. You don’t have to feel intimidated, ‘Oh Sanskrit. I don’t know.’ I am not giving you long words. Please understand, these sounds are very powerful, they can sit inside your inner space, go on purifying on. They are like powerful inner purifiers. So listen and recite.

sambḥutiṁ ca vināśaṁ ca yastad vedobhayaṁ saha |

vināśena mṛtyuṁ tīrtvā sambhūtyāmṛtam aśnute || 14 ||

Just recite. It’s the 14th verse of Isavasya Upanishad. I will give you the translation.

One who cognizes the pure essence of these both—the imperishable consciousness, the cause of manifestation and the destructible, the perishable, manifested entities, simultaneously—such a person completes with the fear of death and transcends death by worshiping or by knowledge of the perishable entities; and reaches the imperishable consciousness; celebrates the nectar of immortality and bliss, the eternal space of oneness.

Now listen. It’s the literal translation I have read out. The key word in this whole Upanishad, you need to understand. What Upanishad is trying to convey it to you. Listen. Continue reading “Discovering the context of Imperishable for all the major decisions of your life is Living Enlightenment”

What you think as your goal, as the essence of your life, towards which you are moving in your life, you are worshiping that!

sambḥutiṁ ca vināśaṁ ca yastad vedobhayaṁ saha |

vināśena mṛtyuṁ tīrtvā sambhūtyāmṛtam aśnute || 14 ||

Just recite. It’s the 14th verse of Isavasya Upanishad. I will give you the translation.

One who cognizes the pure essence of these both—the imperishable consciousness, the cause of manifestation and the destructible, the perishable, manifested entities, simultaneously—such a person completes with the fear of death and transcends death by worshipping or by knowledge of the perishable entities; and reaches the imperishable consciousness; celebrates the nectar of immortality and bliss, the eternal space of oneness.

Now listen. It’s the literal translation I have read out. The key word in this whole Upanishad, you need to understand. What Upanishad is trying to convey it to you. Listen.

Listen intensely what Upanishads are trying to convey through this to you. The first thing, the key word — what you are worshiping in you life. Please understand, here worshiping does not just mean in front of whom you bow down, in front of what you bow down. What you think as goal of your life. What you remember again and again. Please understand., you may be bowing down in front of Shiva deity for money, then you are worshiping money. Whether it is right or wrong, don’t bother now, first let us diagnose, understand –

what you are worshiping in your life?

You may bow down in front of any God, Goddess, Guru, but what you think as the essence of your life, what you think as the lakshya (goal) of your life, that is what you are worshiping. Continue reading “What you think as your goal, as the essence of your life, towards which you are moving in your life, you are worshiping that!”

Life is independent intelligence. It will start expressing when you drop all the inauthentic cognitions.

sambḥutiṁ ca vināśaṁ ca yastad vedobhayaṁ saha |

vināśena mṛtyuṁ tīrtvā sambhūtyāmṛtam aśnute || 14 ||

Listen. I will read out the translation.

One who cognizes the pure essence of these both—the imperishable Consciousness, the cause of manifestation [sambhavāt] and the destructible [vināśam], the perishable, manifested entities, simultaneously—such a person completes with the fear of death and transcends death by worshipping or by knowledge of the imperishable entities; and reaches the imperishable Consciousness and celebrates the nectar of immortality and bliss, the eternal space of oneness.

One who cognizes the pure essence of these both—the imperishable consciousness, the cause of manifestation and the destructible, the perishable, manifested entities, simultaneously, such a person completes with the fear of death and transcends death by worshipping or by knowledge of imperishable entities; and reaches the imperishable consciousness and celebrates the nectar of immortality and bliss, the eternal space of oneness.

Listen. Listen. Cognizing, understanding what is imperishable, what gives you the experience of eternal space of oneness and what is perishable. Continue reading “Life is independent intelligence. It will start expressing when you drop all the inauthentic cognitions.”

If you think your life span is much more, then the idea of your pleasures will become different.

14th verse of the Isavasya Upanishad.

sambḥutiṁ ca vināśaṁ ca yastad vedobhayaṁ saha |

vināśena mṛtyuṁ tīrtvā sambhūtyāmṛtam aśnute || 14 ||

Listen. Understand. Cognize your existence, cognize the existence of the life, universe, God, everything with the larger vision. Listen, why you do what you do? Why you think the way you think? – should be based on larger vision of life not just an immediate ‘agitational gratification’. Please understand, all your so-called luxury, the sensory pleasures are agitation gratification. Please understand, the agitation you feel in the tongue you gratify it with the food which destroys your health, but gives you temporary gratification. Continue reading “If you think your life span is much more, then the idea of your pleasures will become different.”

Nachiketa, what a character!

Today I will try to introduce Naciketa, the hero of Kathopanishad.  It is so strange, king, educated, knows everything, has people, wealth everything under his control ends up being stupid. And a kid, his own kid, not even finishing his schooling, less than 7 years old kid, supposed to be nobody, neither having money nor having people, nothing under his control, ends up being a hero. Strange are the drama of the Cosmos. So the underlying truth, what our society or country respect may be totally different from what Cosmos expects or what Cosmos respect.

Please listen, Nachiketa, kid, kid means real kid, not portrayed as kid real kid, he became the source of enlightenment for billions to come in the future. Please understand, Kathopanishad is the Hindu Book of Dead and death.

If you have read Tibetan Book of Dead, you will understand, every idea represented in that book is from this book. This is the Source book, anywhere, any research, any understanding, any intuition, any sacred secret, any revelation about death, it is from this source, and many conclusion, humanity is yet to arrive is already revealed in this book. It is THE book. Continue reading “Nachiketa, what a character!”

Luxurious lifestyle takes away the strength of your body and mind to reinvent itself with the flow of life

I’ll continue to expand on Kathopanishad. Yesterday I was speaking about the story Vajashravas, King who is feeling insecured and was asked to do a fire ritual from the Vedas, but started doing without understanding the context his son Nachiketa questions. This is the story. I will now try to expand the sacred secrets hidden in this story.

The first thing: king getting into the mental setup of business or bargain, shows the identity crisis happened to him, please understand. The king is the person or at least he is expected to be a person—either lives with powerfulness as a giver, giver, giver or collapses and disappears from us. Please understand, king is not expected to be eternal, but he is expected to be powerful, as long as he is there as king. He can’t afford to get into the mental set up of a Vaishya, businessman.

Same way, a person of knowledge he is not expected to be a giver, nobody expects a person of knowledge to be doing charity, but he is expected of a high standard of Consciousness, highest standard of Consciousness. He is expected to constantly share the spiritual knowledge — live, remember, share the spiritual knowledge. He can’t afford to commit even a small mistake. King in the war can kill even those few innocent people who are not directly involved in the war. He won’t incur a big sin because when there is a war naturally there will be innocent deaths, but a person of knowledge, a Brahman cannot even kill an ant. Even an ant cannot be killed by him. So from each persons the anyakara of society, what society expects, the role they need to fulfill in the society is different. So the identity collapse. Inauthenticity entering into the identity, the identity crisis is what Gita describes as jāti naśta, intermingling of castes, getting impure.

Please understand, because the ancient time the jāti was based on the mental set-up, not just based on your birth. Vishvamitra by jāti is a Kṣatriya [warrior], but he is always remembered as the highest Brahmana. He is respected as Brahmarishi by Vashistha. Understand, each one need to maintain their role. Approaching everything with tremendous love and patience from the context of grasping the Truth is Seeking

With this I will move tenth verse of the Isavasya Upanishad. Please recite along with me.

anyad evāhur vidyayā-anyad āhur avidyayā |

iti śuśruma dhīrāṇaṁ ye nastad vicacakṣire ||

I will read out the translation.

It is said by Vidya, the knowledge cognized from the right context of grasping the Truth, Consciousness and the superficial knowledge acquired from the wrong context of grabbing without cognizing the subtle Truths, certainly a different result is achieved. Similarly it is said that by Avidya the authentic actions and the ignorant actions a very different result is achieved. Thus have we listened from those wise beings who have explained that absolute principle to us.

Listen.

Constantly keeping your seeking alive makes you grasp the Truth, you will not try to grab them. Understand, for example you see somebody melting down, overflowing, with that melting devotion offers a Bilva leaf to Mahadeva and he is liberated. You see that and then you also decide, Yes, if I pluck that tree, leaf and put it on this statue I will have liberation. That is what is grabbing the Truth. Understand, you are not grasping it, you are grabbing it. You only see the action. Continue reading “Approaching everything with tremendous love and patience from the context of grasping the Truth is Seeking”

The highest spiritual practice constantly reinventing yourself and re-strategizing yourself by catching the Master’s words.

See, once first time when you hear Guru’s words, with so much of seeking, interest, excitement, you enjoy it, start picking up many things and internalizing as part of your life, and then after some time, your seeking comes down, … Continue reading The highest spiritual practice constantly reinventing yourself and re-strategizing yourself by catching the Master’s words.

Whatever spiritual practice you do should make you more and more strong seeker.

I will continue to expand on 10th verse of Isavasya Upanishad.

anyad evāhur vidyayā-anyad āhur avidyayā |

iti śuśruma dhīrāṇaṁ ye nastad vicacakṣire || 10 ||

I will read out the translation:

It is said that by vidyā, the knowledge cognized from the right context of grasping the Truth, Consciousness and the superficial knowledge acquired from the wrong context of grabbing, without cognizing the subtle Truth, certainly the different result is achieved. Similarly, it is said that by avidyā, the authentic actions and the ignorant actions a very different result is achieved thus having listened to those wise beings who explained the absolute principle to us.

Listen. Without the context of seeking, even renunciation can lead you into laziness. Continue reading “Whatever spiritual practice you do should make you more and more strong seeker.”

Am I changing due to boredom, am I re-strategizing, re-inventing myself out of my seeking?

Please listen, I am using little tall words. See sometimes the tall words are required to tell you what I am talking about is a tall philosophy. If I am doing small talks, I can use silly words. But if I am explaining some tall philosophical truths, sacred secrets, tall words are required. Listen, giving in to your pattern compulsions are not freedom; unfortunately, the western society is teaching you, the western civilization is teaching you, the materialistic civilization is teaching you, giving in to your pattern compulsions is freedom, and they supply material for your pattern compulsions, and swindle you, rob you. Giving in to your pattern compulsions are not freedom. If you think that is the freedom, you are stupid; that is the right word I will use, you are stupid. Don’t give in to your pattern compulsions. Make seeking as the compelling reality of you. Let the seeking be the first response from you.

Let me define Seeking. Please listen, let me define Seeking.

Whatever I feel as ‘me,’ what is that? It is constantly changing, dilly dallying, sometime it feels good, sometime it is bad, sometimes right, sometimes wrong, sometimes knowledgeable, sometimes ignorant. What is it? What am I? You should not even as ‘who am I,’ because the moment you say—“Who am I”—you already assumed you are a being.

You should only ask the word—“What am I?” because you don’t even know whether you are a being or some inanimate object. The word ‘Who am I’ comes with the presumption you are a being, even that is not sure. Only when you realize who you are, you can be a being; till then, you are just only innate existence.
