Let your body be Fire! Let your mind be Light. Intensely alive! Let your Consciousness be self-effulgent, always radiant!

Those who worship avidyā, the ignorance that veils the true knowledge of truth, Consciousness, enter into blinding darkness, but into greater darkness of ignorance than that enter they who, considering themselves as learned, are engaged in vidyā, the incomplete knowledge acquired for vested interests, characterized by impure truth about Consciousness.

Listen. I will explain step by step. Listen. I will explain the key point in this verse directly: now all of you have done Vaakyartha Sadas for last so many days, what is Consciousness? What is All-pervasiveness? What is without coming and going? What is muscle-less, woundless, all these you would have done. At one point, you will feel stuck, it is natural. At that moment, if you decide, “it’s ok, but I will continue to dig”, you are Living Enlightenment. At that moment, you think, “ah, whatever I learned, with that, let me make whatever I need in life, like comforts, name and fame, who knows, leave it,” then, that is avidya.

When your brain associates itself with Consciousness as That itself, it will start cognizing, taking actions, decisions, everything based on That. Literally your whole brain will lit up; your whole heart will lit up; your whole body will lit up! Maybe that is why it is called Enlightenment! The whole thing will be lit up! What you perceive as You, can be changed just by your will!

I will continue to expand on the 8th verse of the Īśāvāsya Upaniṣad.

sa paryagāc-chukram akāyam avraṇam asnāviram śuddham apāpa-viddham |

Listen. First I wanted to explain this one Truth. Listen, first I wanted to explain this one Truth to all of you. Please internalize. Internalize this one Truth. Listen carefully.

How you function, how you perceive, what you did, you are doing, you are going to do, how you thought, thinking, going to think, everything is dependent on one axis, that is your concept about you. Please listen. What you think as you, if you just look inside, what you think of you – a bunch of worries, or a bunch of failures, or a bunch of failures and successes put together, or a kind of a confusion. What is that you perceive as you? Continue reading “What you perceive as You, can be changed just by your will!”

I have seen the Masters who have so visibly, directly, shamelessly declaring the power of Mahadeva!

Somebody has put a comment on Facebook: ‘Why in India they didn’t build hospitals, schools?  How do you call them as evolved civilization?’  In every village, the largest building of the village is the common utility building where we had school, hospital, cinema theater, art gallery, teaching place, and, ultimately, teaching enlightenment.  The place, we call it as “TEMPLE”!  Understand?  We call that as “TEMPLE”.  “ALL”!  It is not just a “Mall”; it is “All”!  Everything about life is done there,  whether storing the grain, teaching principles, or medical-care, everything is done there.  And, moreover, our lifestyle was such, we didn’t need so much of hospitalization.  From the beginning we were taking care of ourselves. And an important thing, very important thing, when time comes, we were gracefully able to leave, say “bye bye”!  Because, we know we will come back!  We were not that poor psychologically or consciously that we were holding on to one body.  See, when you want to hold on to that one body only you need so much of medical-care.  We just know, when we need, we will make the body recover.  When it is time, body is too damaged, come on drop it, pick up another one!

We trust metal more than currency, because, for ages we have been a metal civilization, not currency civilization.  Understand, currency was pushed upon us very recently.  Those days, even currency had a value because of the metal in which the currency is made.  Currency itself independently did not have a value.  The gold with which the coin is made, that gold had a value, not declaration by the king or the administrator that this is this much valuable.  Understand, trusting only Vaishyas for wealth was our civilization.  Now our money is by Kshatriyas, politicians, administrators.  Please understand, that is why I am saying, your money is not money!  Because, the person who is going to transact, that community what they value only can be valuable in society.  See, when there is a crisis, what is going to get you your food, that is decided only by Vaishyas, not by Kshatriyas.  But, it is unfortunate, the whole lot of confusion. Guru is the powerful wake-up call towards your spiritual possibility!

Having all the necessary intellectual understanding to live Advaitha is “Jnana”. Having all the intellectual understanding, listen, having all the necessary intellectual understanding is “Jnana”.

Having all the necessary feeling-connection strength to live Advaitha is “Bhakthi”.

Having all the necessary cognitions to live Advaitha is “Vijnana”.

Listen! Having all the intellectual understanding which is necessary to live Advaitha.

Living Advaitha” means, radiating all powerful, all knowledge, always blissful, Satchidanandamaya.

Satchidananda is not a fantasy, please be very clear. It is not a fantasy of the Hindu brain. No! It is not a fairy tale from some old rishis of Taraka Vana or Naimisharanya. No! Listen! Listen! Satchitananda is not fantasy. It is reality! Satchitananda is reality! I am not interested in debating with the people who call this as fantasy. I am only interested in giving this experience to people who want to receive it. With more debates, more time will be wasted. I am not interested in that. I am not interested in leading to unnecessary debate; but I am always ready to clarify all the possible doubts. What is “Karma” ?

“One should desire to live in this world for hundreds of years, all the while doing his deeds dispassionately as sanctioned by the scriptures. In this way, the deeds done by you shall not cling to you. There is no other way by which a man can free himself from the bondage created by the deeds.”

Listen! Let me explain what is “Karma”.

“Karma” is the bondage created in you by your commission or omission of certain acts which is incomplete with your own cognition about life.

Listen! If you think money is life, some of the acts you did which didn’t bring money to you, or some of the acts you did not do, again which deprived you from money, commission or omission of certain acts which is incomplete with your concept of life, is “Karma”.

And, any commission or omission of the acts which is in sync and complete with your concept of life does not bring you any Karma. It does not bring you any incompletion. Continue reading “What is “Karma” ?”

Everything you are having, and you want to have, you are qualified for all that and much more, because, Life is celebrating itself through you!

Listen! Today I will expand on the last part of this sutra:

ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् ।

तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥

Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath |

Whatever is, which is changing and established in changing, is filled by Consciousness, Pure Consciousness.

Listen! Whenever change is happening outside you, inside you, don’t feel life is sadistic, it is punishing you, it is taking away something which you really like or with which you settled down just now.

Ability to understand that every change is a possibility for you to reinvent yourself, is “Renunciation”, understand?

“Raaga” means: “Obsession”, “Attachment”.

“Araaga” means: “Detachment”, “Dead”.

“Viraaga” means: Understanding that the change is established in change, and that is filled with Consciousness. Continue reading “Everything you are having, and you want to have, you are qualified for all that and much more, because, Life is celebrating itself through you!”

Kaamika aagama: Lifestyle to cause your reality

Actually, the last few days, the joy is really flowing into me and into the Sangha! Because, one of the greatest discoveries I have done in my research and development has happened in the last few days! I don’t want to say it is an accident; I don’t want to say it is an incident; I only have to say, ‘It is a MIRACLE’! For quite a long time I was feeling that I should take out and give a best lifestyle for all my disciples and devotees. See, I myself used to, and still follow, the lifestyle of Manu. Means, how to brush, how to wash yourself, how to take bath, how to dress – in all these I follow Manu. But even then I was feeling that Manu is a human-being. So, these instructions are from him. I was looking, searching, searching in the vast, the forest of spiritual literature of Vedic Tradition, ‘Is there any book where Mahadeva himself give instructions about all these day-to-day actions, the lifestyle instructions?’ I went on doing research. Of course, all the 112 Upanishads are only about the abstract principles. They don’t talk about how many times you have to brush, how many times you have to wash your mouth, or how you have to keep yourself clean, or how you have to dress, how you have to cook, how you have to eat. Somehow, I wanted, from Mahadeva himself if these instructions have come it would have been so beautiful! Because, every day, when I brush, I only remember Manu, and say, ‘Manu, as you said I am brushing.’ When I wake up, I say, ‘O, Manu, as you said I am waking up.’ When I take bath, I say only, ‘O, Manu, as you said, I am doing it.’ Of course, Manu has the authority from Mahadeva, but there is a possibility that the person who has authority can miss a few things. Like, when I put somebody as a Mahant, they may follow the broad concept of what I gave; but there is a possibility to miss a few things because of their own understandings and perceptions. So, I used to wonder, ‘Is there any book?’ I was searching, searching, searching. Continue reading “Kaamika aagama: Lifestyle to cause your reality”

When You Sit, Truth is revealed !

UPANISHADS!  Actually, just every day when I come and sit here and utter that word, “Upanishads”, the way the truths are overflowing, verbalization becomes a big job!  Finding ideas is not at all a big job; verbalizing them has become a big job!

There are tons of books and tons of authors.  But, this book, Upanishads, to tell you honestly, if I have to put it a little poetically, the words feel shy to introduce Upanishads!  Words feel shy to introduce Upanishads!  If a child asks, ‘What is the size of an apple?’, you can show like this (Swamiji gestures with his hands).  ‘What is the size of a pumpkin?’, you can show like this (Swamiji again gestures with his hands).  If the child asks, ‘What is the size of the Planet Earth?’, can you show like this?  (Swamiji spreads his arms wide).  No!  This is not in any way signifying the size of the Planet Earth!  You can show, ‘This big!’  (Swamiji again spreads his arms wide).  But, that is in no way signifying the size of the Planet Earth!  That is in no way doing justification to the size of the Planet Earth!  Please understand!  So, what will I do with these words to introduce Upanishads?  I can only pull my mouth like this and say, “It is this big!’

The way they introduce you to you, the way they introduce the world to you, the way they introduce god to you, the way they introduce life to you, nothing can be compared to Upanishads.  Whether the purity of the substance they are delivering, or the poetic way they are expressing, or the very sound in which they have nicely embedded the vibrations of Kundalini awakening!  Upanishads not only have a linguistic and poetic importance, meaning, they have even phonetic importance.  Even phonetically they are important.  Actually, by the religious historians classifying Upanishads under Hinduism, they brought a great respect to Hinduism.  And, of course, Hindus are the inheritors.  It is our inheritance, no doubt.  But we need to live it and share it with the world.  It does not belong just to us.  Please understand, we might have been inheritors, but it does not belong just to us; it belongs to the whole universe!   Continue reading “When You Sit, Truth is revealed !”

If you are not having wealth, you are working for poverty.

Wealth is not a thing to be created or managed. It is you. If you are not having wealth be very clear the flow of your very being has some serious flaw. Please understand. Krishna says very clearly “Gahano Karmano Gathihi”. Life is work. If you are not having wealth you are working for poverty. You work for only 2 things in your life: either you work for wealth or you work for poverty. Find out how you are working for poverty and change the tendency to work for wealth. Poverty is sin, please understand.  Dump the statement: “Blessed are … Continue reading If you are not having wealth, you are working for poverty.

You are not the doer, your incompletions are

Questionnaire: ‘According to the Upanishads, we are not the “doer” where we do our job at work. How can we detach ourselves from the doing and just work as a service for the world that God created? If I am not supposed to have a desire to succeed in my business, and have pride, what will motivate me to do it? And, how can I detach myself from this desire to be successful?’ Swamiji: I will read the question. ‘According to the Upanishads, we are not the “doer” where we do our job at work. How can we detach ourselves from the … Continue reading You are not the doer, your incompletions are
