Samsar literally means the ‘world’ or the ‘path’. It refers to the worldly life that causes endless cycles of birth and death.
There are two ways to move in any path: either with baggage and people or by yourself. In the first case, you may have to wait for a longer time. In the second case you can reach, even this very minute.
Sannyas is the decision not to carry any baggage while moving. You can have everything, but you don’t have to carry it. When you don’t carry anything, Existence brings to you what you need for the moment. That is sannyas! Sannyas has always been wrongly associated with renunciation. You don’t have to renounce anything. You just need to understand that you are a temporary custodian of some wealth, which is a part of Existence, just as you are as well. Then you won’t need to renounce because you never possessed anything in the first place! Even if you have to part with wealth, you will not feel that you are giving away or losing your possessions. The problem starts with the attitude of possessing, the feeling of ‘mine’.
Sannyas is the art and science of creating wealth flawlessly.
I read a beautiful line in a Zen book. It said, ‘Mentally give away everything that you think belongs to you. Then one day, if it is really not there, you will not suffer.’ This can be done as a beautiful 10-minute meditation everyday. It can have a powerful impact on the attitude of possessing. The river heads only towards the sea. It does not stagnate anywhere. A sannyasi heads only towards his goal of enlightenment. He knows no distractions. The river flows blissfully, whatever be the things thrown into it on its way. So many things are thrown into the river – flowers, twigs, food, animals, birds, dead bodies, etc. But the river flows, not bothering about anything. Similarly, a sannyasi moves blissfully, untouched by anything that comes his way. The current pulls the river over its obstacles, and it gurgles, with a constant music, moving towards the sea. The cosmic intelligence pulls the sannyasi over obstacles as he moves towards the ultimate goal. He knows not what obstacles are. For him, they are all stepping stones on the path to bliss. We see two things in the process of ‘seeing’, the seer and the seen object.
Actually, what is happening in the process of seeing?
From the seer, consciousness takes a jump continuously to the seen, because it is not able to relax into the seer itself. Because of its restlessness, it gives life to the seen. The continuous jump that happens between the seer and seen – from the seer to the seen, from the seen to the seer, again from the seer to the seen and again from the seen to the seer – is what is SEEING. When the seer is not completely in bliss within himself, he starts becoming restless and jumps. When he jumps, he gives life to the seen. Because he gives life to the seen, the process of jumping becomes SEEING.
There are two ways to drop this process of seeing.
Whether you are stuck with the seer or with the seen, get completely stuck and you are enlightened!

Integrity to your thought current.
There is a next level. Integrity to your lifestyle, the lifestyle you have chosen. About that, we will see later. The initial, the fundamental principle of Integrity – integrity to the thought current you cherish and you share. About that I will explain.
See, incompletions with the thought current you cherish and share, leads to tremendous confusion about your existence. Understand. The whole problem is the pattern of lying and spontaneous lying, more than others are cheated, you yourself cheat you and you do not really know what you want. I have seen, people don’t know what they want. They actually know what they want, they don’t know what they want. They actually know what they want, they don’t know what they want.
They know they want Sadāshiva and Kailasa, because 4-5 times they spoke about the cars, they think they may want cars. They know what they want, they don’t know what they want. Understand. I am repeating – ‘they know what they want, they don’t know what they want.’
The words continuously uttered, convinces you more than convincing others. That is the biggest danger. When you utter a lie, whether a planned lie or a spontaneous lie again and again, after a few times more than others, you are cheated. What will you do with the stupid cars, vacation homes? After few days, it will be bored because without looking into the reality….you see, past few times when you went to vacation, did you really enjoy something which you visualized, when you planned for a vacation? You plan for a vacation, hoping certain experience you go for it and you know what happens and you come back. cakṣuṣaś-cakṣur-atimucya dhīrāḥ pretyāsmāllokād-amṛtā bhavanti || 2 ||
Understand, the most sophisticated of answering a question is, giving you the methodology you will find experience, the most sophisticated way of answering a question is as an answer giving you a methodology, through which you will find, the experience.
śrotrasya śrotraṁ manaso mano yad |
The whole verse is not giving you any point you can hang around, any visualization, any possibility for imagination, no. It’s very clear. Your pure questioning is turned towards you; your pure questioning is turned towards you. Listen, pure questioning is one of the most powerful way of integrating you.

I wanted to explain from the angle of the spiritual alchemy process about the reason for this Saatvikananda.
Understand… do not allow your physiology or psychology to enjoy any joy which comes by torturing anybody. Don’t allow. Then you lose your Shaivatva. No! You lose your Shivatvamasi. No! Don’t allow. Never allow any joy which comes by suffering of the other person, torture of the other person. No! Then your brain loses its capacity to hold Sadashiva in you. And, always encourage, grow, the Saatvikanandas. Don’t be shy to grow the Saatvikananda. Do not be shy to grow the bliss of Sattvika; means non-violent joys should be grown so much into the system. I tell you, more and more dosage of non-violent bliss develops larger and larger vision of life.
Saatvikananda person gets… I can’t even describe the benefits because this benefits happening in the physical level, in the muscle memory level, physiological level, psychological level; when the pitta in your brain, that layer of pitta reduces, only then your system develops a power called ‘eating its own dead cells and cleaning up’ which is the energy of Rudra.
Understand. Listen, just now few days before, one fellow got Nobel Prize for Physics. His research project, I studied his research project why he got. It is all about the science of how the body is eating its old dead cells and how it can be supported and encouraged. Please listen. For what he got the Nobel Prize now, at least 60000 years before elaborately Sadashiva describes. I can give you precise word. Now I think in English they use the word autophagy or something. I can give you the precise word, in Sanskrit, in Agama, and the precise principle. Joy, in the brain, first thing it does…

Understand last 15 verses of Isavasya Upanishad, the essence in one word is Seeking.
Intense decision to have seeking. I tell you, the ferociousness of seeking is powerful enough like the fire of Kalabhairava to burn everything which needs to be burnt and destroyed. Please listen, I’ll repeat:
the ferociousness of seeking is powerful enough, as the fire of Kalabhairava, to burn everything which need to be burnt inside you – laziness, tiredness, boredom, everything which needs to be burnt inside you, everything which needs to be taken out of you can be just like that burnt. Just like that taken away. Just like that cleared, by seeking.
Listen. How many microseconds it will take for negativity to disappear in front of Kalabhairava’s ferociousness? Not even micro millisecond! Same way, the seeking, deciding to seek your home, deciding to seek where you can have eternal rest, deciding to seek where you can have eternal peace, deciding to seek where you can have eternal bliss, that decision itself, that seeking itself is powerful enough, listen, powerful enough to give you the freedom to reorganize yourself. This verse explains the context of Gurukul, listen. This verse explains the context of Gurukul. Gurukul means, the literal meaning of the Gurukul is, Guru’s home. Please understand. In the Hindu tradition family is the nucleus, you demolish any thousands of number of temples. You burn any thousands of numbers of scriptures, as long as the family system is alive, we will stand back. We will come back. Because, Sanatana Hindu Dharma values are transmitted, transferred through the family tradition. The gotra (family lineage)…I wanted to tell this to all you guys, as much as possible please live as large joined families. Either become a Sannyasi, be in the Gurukul, which is large joined family, of Gurukul. Yes, change your karma. But remember, karma means the thought current in which you are stuck. The thought current in which you are stuck is karma. Discard it, change it completely.

Karma is not like your rudraksha mala, if it is broken you can restring and wear and you can replace that broken bed with a new bead. Karma is not your rudraksha mala, it is your diaper, you have to change it completely.
Karma is diaper, you have to change it completely. You can’t change part of it, you can’t wash and reuse.
Karma is not your soap or your shampoo, or your mala, to repair, reuse, wash. No! It is your diaper, when it is smelling you have to change it completely. Even wash the area it was touching. Satchidananda is not delusion or illusion or imagination. Satchidananda, living Satchitananda is possible. That is the first statement I want to give about Living Advaitha.
