If there is implicit openness and innocence the learning can be received from the Avatar who imparts learning every moment

The word upanishad means ‘sitting at the feet of the master’.

In ancient India, there was the gurukul tradition of masters and disciples. Children were left with the master at the age of seven and they grew up centering beautifully in their consciousness. Masters are living embodiments of the scriptural truths. Their thoughts, words and deeds stem from the ultimate Truth. Disciples pick up the truth just by living around them. Swami Sri Yukteshwar Giri , an enlightened master from India says, ‘Sitting with the master is not merely being in his physical presence, but keeping him in your heart, being one with him in principle and tuning yourself to him.’ This is the whole technique of upanishad.

The master is superconscious energy. When you tune to him, you tune to that energy. You can tune only through innocence, openness. Openness is emptiness. Let not knowledge fill you. Knowledge is but a mere tool, not your substance. Reject all knowledge as ‘not this’, ‘not this’. When I say reject, I mean don’t settle for any intermediate knowledge except the ultimate Truth. Because when you drop everything that continuously arises in you, then you have no other go. You are thrown back into yourself and it is there you will find the ultimate Truth. It is then you are ready to be filled with the Truth. Then alone can you make upanishad happen. Meditation technique to allow the play of spontaneous intelligence in your life

Just try this for the next 48 hours. Consciously decide you are not going to think about your problems. Drop your intellect which continuously tells you that you do not have enough intelligence to solve your problems spontaneously, that you … Continue reading Meditation technique to allow the play of spontaneous intelligence in your life

We need to have intelligence even to do new mistakes!

Our entire educational system is based upon evaluation of information, not intelligence. It is driven by intellect and verbalization, not visualization. When you try to move on the basis of information you lose the ability to be intelligent. In fact, if you are logically logical you will understand that logic itself is not logical.

Life is not logical. It cannot be explained with the mundane logic and intellect. It happens in a plane much higher than the intellect. The intelligent person lives moment to moment, not through logic. He does not believe in borrowed answers. He sees the challenge of the situation and directly responds to it. The intellectual person is like a photograph, he has the imprint of the past on him. The intelligent person is like a mirror, he reflects and responds to reality and is therefore spontaneous. When you are really blissful, you work with higher intelligence!

Intelligence is not to do with the information that you have or receive. That is only intellect. In other words, intelligence is not the totality of your experiences, but the lessons learned from those experiences.

Understanding happens only when you are open and spontaneous without prejudice. If you are with prejudice, the complete understanding does not penetrate you. If you are open, then the complete understanding penetrates you and you become intelligent.

For example, a person touches a burning matchstick and learns that it burns. Next, the person touches a gas flame and learns that it burns too. Next, he touches a blazing fire and finds that it also burns. If that person waits for learning this way, from experience, it will take him ages to learn the lesson that fire burns. And when he finally learns, it will be time for him to go to the burning cremation grounds! The intelligent person figures after touching the first fire of the matchstick, that any type of fire burns. But the even more intelligent person does not even wait to touch the fire of the matchstick, he learns even when he sees another person touching it! When there is devotion, eyes will have a smile :)

Let me define “Bhakti”:

“People who experience Completion out of the emotion which happens due to the higher consciousness pastimes”.

Please understand, your pastime always leads you to incompletion. An incarnation’s pastimes always leads you to Completion! If you constantly remember what you did when you were a child, you will be in more and more incompletion. If you constantly remember what Krishna did when he was a child, you will be more and more in the space of Completion!

Leela Dhyána! is such a powerful space creator! Beyond a certain level, your intellect will not have the strength to create a space. For example, when you learn about the power of the space, you will create a space:

‘Come on, I am creating the space to build ten ashrams, five temples, three-hundred ashramites, two-hundred sannyasis!’ You will fail…..you may fail in one item, means you may fail in one dimension. You may be successful in some. You might have created ten temples, you might have created five ashrams, but you would have missed in the sannyasis number. When you fail in one, you lose confidence over you. Again you will create a certain space: ‘I am creating the space for this and working…..’ You may fail in one or two things. Your intellect does not have the strength to stand up again and again and create the space and face those few failures when it happens in your life.

But the emotion – bhakti/devotion is so powerful, it can create again and again tirelessly, the right space for you.

Only with intellect, by intellectually understanding Completion, Integrity, Authenticity, Responsibility and Enriching, when you fall you will collapse. But if you understand with emotion, with Leela Dhyana, with devotion, if you understand, even if you fall you won’t collapse. When you create the space along with the feeling connection, emotion, devotion towards the higher consciousness, I guarantee simply failure disappears from your system, because Krishna is not a story, Sundareshwara is not a story, Meenakshi is not a story. I can’t even say it has happened. I only can say it is happening whenever you remember them. It is not pastime; it is present times whenever you remember them.

Understand, I am not promoting any superstition, I am not promoting any lies, I am not promoting anything about which I myself have a doubt in a corner of my heart. No, I am very clear. Continue reading “When there is devotion, eyes will have a smile :)”
