peace

Step 1.

  • Remember the swadhishtana.
  • Be aware intensely of the being center, two inches below the navel.
  • Intensely chant the “hoo” kara by producing the sound hooooo, through the mouth as you exhale as loudly and as long as possible.
  • This will create a vibration effect around your mouth.
  • Allow any fear that comes up to come up.
  • If you are trembling or shaking or feeling disturbed, it is ok.
  • Intensely chant the hoo kara mantra.

Step 2:

  • Relax in the being center.

Pure greed is intense bliss or excitement. Pure fear is intense peace.

Through bliss, you can achieve. Through peace also, you can achieve. Relax into the peace, and you will see that you are completely alive!

May all Dharma, the Sacred Truths declared by Upaniṣads be fully manifest and radiate in me, who, am integrated and authentically devoted to knowing the experience of that Truth, Ātmā, the Self.

May they manifest and radiate in me – mayi santu te mayi santu |

The declaration, Shanti Mantra. Actually this verse should be not be translated as ‘peace prayer’, it should be translated as ‘peace declaration.’ Understand. Here nobody is praying to anybody. No God is presupposed. No bargain is in the existence. No business deal is in existence. There will always be some said, unsaid understandings.

If you believe in certain things, certain actions will manifest from you, it’s 100% sure. I have always seen, people who do not commit and take responsibility – I can see very clearly, they make fun of our whole lifestyle. Anybody who believes the lifestyle we live in or Sangha, who loves the lifestyle, who believes the lifestyle, I have always seen, they take the responsibility, they fall in love with the responsibility, and active lifestyle. And I have also seen people cooking up their own reasons not to get involved and not to take responsibility. Starts from varied reasons, they are masters in finding reasons. Starts from headache to my kid is too small. But I have always seen, people who do not take the responsibility, do not get involved, do not love Me or the lifestyle I am teaching. When you love, you can’t keep quiet. When you fall in love with somebody, you will just radiate their lifestyle, their thought current. You will just manifest. Read Full Article

Actually, Upanishads set the context. Agamas are applied science. Upanishads are like pure science. Agamas are the applied science. Upanishads. Its like a Upanishads define the greatness of Varanasi. Agamas are like GPS to enter into Varanasi and enjoy Varanasi. It is like Upanishads explain the glory through the great principle.

Agamas give you the exact science. Upanishads explain you the glory. Agamas give you the exact science.

I will start with the Shanti Mantra of Kena Upanishad. Please understand, the beauty of Vedic education system. Always education starts with peace, ends with peace because education is the most powerful weapon, either can be used for peace or violence. Understand, education is the most powerful weapon, either can be used for peace or for violence. Vedic tradition insists you becoming rich through education should always be for the peace of the Universe. It should increase the frequency of the peace of the Universe not increase the frequency of the violence in the Universe. I tell you, future wars will not have winners. Future wars will not have winners because we have used education, knowledge to the extreme of violence. We have accumulated enough weapon to demolish not just all the buildings but destroy the very Planet Earth itself for more than 800 times, understand. 800 times we can blow the Planet Earth, so much of weapons are accumulated. Nowaday countries don’t talk about chemical weapons where human beings will be eradicated, just blowing up the planet earth. That’s the latest trend. Understand, the knowledge, education is used for violence nothing will be left out.

Vedic tradition is very clear. The thought current called knowledge should always start with peace and end with peace.

All Upanishads, all the 108 Upanishads has only one similarity. Please understand, all 108 Upanishads does not teach one God, does not teach one philosophy. Sometimes not only they contradict themselves, they are completely opposite to each other. All the 108 Upanishads have only one thing in common; they declare themselves – start with the peace and end with the peace. Other than this, nothing else is in common among all the 108 Upanishads. Kena Upanishad’s shanti mantra, I was introducing yesterday’s satsang. Let’s recite the shanti mantra and enter into the understanding.

Two important truths I want you to learn. First, the Vedic way of living, Vedic lifestyle starts with peace, ends with peace. All the knowledge we generated, please understand, we had everything and much more what modern science has produced now. Whether it is jet plane, rocket, missiles, nuclear weapons, chemical weapons, we had everything and much more in Vedic age, Vedic era, but we were very clear – it’ll only be for peace, it’ll only be for peace. Understand, we start peace, end with peace; whether it is rituals, ceremonies, teaching, knowledge transmission, everything, everything, knowledge is only for peace.

Only one big crime the modern day Hindus did, they think – peace is important so let’s avoid conflicts. No! By avoiding conflict you will never be in peace. By avoiding conflict, if you try to be in peace, naturally the other forces will push you, push you, push you to the corner till you become non-existent. Avoiding the conflicts is not methodology for peace.Right methodology for peace, facing it, solving it.

Peace is the purpose, that does not mean that we are afraid of conflicts. Peace is the purpose, does not mean that we are afraid of conflicts. Peace is purpose, does not mean we are powerless to handle conflicts. That is one of the biggest crime the modern day Hindus did, trying to avoid conflicts to have peace. That is why modern day Hindus lost their backbone.

Peace is the purpose, but not avoiding the conflict, but by facing and resolving it.

Paramahamsa Nithyananda intercepts into the first part of Shanti Mantra, which is chanted before the Kena Upanishad, in this Nithya Satsang as on 29th June 2016, live from Varanasi. This glorious declaration by the Upanishadic Rishis is the ‘declaration of WILL”” forming the science of WILL. His Holiness reveals that the one core truth that the whole Hindu tradition accepts indisputably, be they from the Shakta, Shaiva, Kaumara, Ganapatya, Saurya, Jain, Buddha traditions or any of the 6 Darshanas of Hinduism is the sacred sound – AUM, the cosmic vibration and the sacredness of ‘cows’. This Shanti Mantra or peace invocation begins with AUM, and makes a declaration of WILL, which fully integrates us and enriches (āpyāyantu) with MATURITY, STRENGTH, ENERGY. Paramahamsa Nithyananda enters into the deeper meanings of this verse with the essence of MATURITY. He defines: Maturity means being integrated to your WILL. Maturity does not mean you become handicapped; you become filled with strength and energy. Revealing the sacred moments from his childhood, He narrates how He had tuned Himself to the Sannyasa life at age 6 by declaring to His Guru and integrating his whole system which became matured to the decision of Sannyasa.

Mohandas Pai: Swamiji, in our lives, we are subject to so many external rules. We are told to behave in a particular manner, to live in a particular manner, to eat in a particular manner. Now do we have command over our own lives? Do we have the ability and the right to decide, what is good for us, as we seek happiness and peace in our lives?

Swamiji:  Whoever does not understand the context is bound by the rule. Whoever understands the context is empowered by the rule.

Mohandas Pai: Oh…

Swamiji: Any rule. Whether it’s a traffic rule or dressing rule or eating rule, any behavior, any rule, if we do not know the context, why it is formulated, that will be binding us. If we know, why it is formulated, 2 thing will happen –

One – Even while you follow, you will not feel you are bound. You will not be feeling bound if you stop in the red signal in the traffic rule if you know the context. While you were following, you will not feel bound.

Second – All the grey area will be your freedom.

The freedom which comes by knowing the context is two end – One, even while you are following, you will not be bound. Second, all the grey area is your freedom. But when we don’t know the context, even while you are following, we will feel we are slaves and we do not know the grey area and we do not have the freedom or command over the grey area. At the end of the day, even Powers, is nothing but knowing the grey area of the Cosmic Rules. When we know the context, context of the Cosmic rules is Dharma. When we know the Dharma, even if you follow the rules, you will not feel bound and because you know the grey area, you know where to play. Knowing where you can play and where you need to obey, itself is a Power.

Mohandas Pai – Swamiji, thank you so much for talking to me. Is very fascinating to be here.
Swamiji – Thank you for being here.

Mohandas Pai – It’s very fascinating to be here, to see so many people who have come to meet you and talk to you. I want to start off this dialogue by asking you a very simple question – how do all of us find peace and happiness in our lives? What is the magic that we need to do, to be happy and to be peaceful within?

Swamiji Happiness is actually a alchemy process in us, independent of any external happening. We are trying constantly, to achieve happiness in the wrong direction, thinking that only certain permutation, combinations of the external happening can cause happiness in us. It is like a completely misunderstanding the chemistry. If A + B is going to be C, and we go on try to add C + D and reach the A, it is never going to happen. Same way, the alchemy of the happiness, has to be understood as a independent process than the external happenings and permutation, combinations of the external happiness. This itself solves almost 80% of the problem. Then, building happiness is a separate profession we need to do; like making business.

Mohandas Pai Oh…

Swamiji It is unfortunate, we believe just by making business or building our career or building a relationship, happiness is achieved. NO.!  It’s a separate alchemy process. Of course, thousands of times simpler than building a career and profession. It may be simple, but it is separate process. We need to look in, to the basic understandings which makes that spiritual alchemy process of happiness happen in us. May be looking into that and following that science, happiness can be developed. And developing happiness can be the first fundamental foundational requirement, even to develop our business and career and all the other things; because if we develop happiness, peace will be side-effect. Peace itself is not main effect. Peace will be side effect. That will equip us, to handle all the things we need to do, to build our career, profession, relationship and all that.

Without building the happiness inside, if we directly start building external things –

1st – Tremendous stress.

2ndEven after achieving the goal, we suddenly feel whatever we lost in the path is too much, to reach this result. So that leads to frustration. I call it – Depression of Success.

Mohandas Pai – Oh…

Swamiji – Successful, but whatever we gave up, looks too much of…too much we gave up, to achieve this. After achieving that only we understand, “I think this may not be that worthy”. So building happiness is an independent science, alchemy, which every individual need to do, before even beginning the life. If we missed, at least now.

What is inner space ?

Inner space means when you close your eyes and look inside, how you feel, what you feel as you, that is inner space.

Second, what is silence?

If that inner space—if you suddenly feel as if you have taken bath in the cold water and the whole thing inside is in the eternal peace, there is no agitation, it is all completely in peace, in restful awareness, that is what I call ‘inner silence’- means less number of thoughts.

Third question—when will I experience silence?

Whenever you want, that’s all. It is actually you need to feel tired of wandering around. Unless you feel tired of wandering around, if I have to use very strong term—fooling around, your mind goes on fooling around. Instead of real source of joy, you just go round, go round, go round, go round, try to taste everything; other than your food you try to taste everything. When I say everything, I mean everything. Your mind also does the same thing, going around constantly, fooling around, trying this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this..What is the essence? It just goes on.  Goes on trying. I tell you, your mind needs to be little tired, tired of roaming around, wandering, only then it will experience silence. It will decide to experience silence.

You are asking, ‘how do I know if I am meditating rightly?’

When you meditate rightly, peace will start growing in you like a tree growing, the experience of peace will start growing in you. Nothing can agitate you. No one can disturb you. Growing peace in you. When peace grows in you rightly, you are meditating rightly.

Both ideas are wrong. Just because they died in the sleep you should not attribute the word peacefully. And just because their outside showing the pain symptoms , you cannot say they are not peaceful inside. So, peaceful and they are not peaceful is simply dependent on the patterns and incompletions. If you complete all the incompletions your death will be so peaceful, because all the patterns will become irrelevant to your life, irrelevant at that time. The incompletions  cannot bind you anymore. So you will have a peaceful, complete peaceful death. Whether you will have a peaceful death or not depends on you have a peaceful life or not. If you can just sit with yourself whenever you want & you are in the space of completion, perpetual completion, you will die only in that space.  If you can fall asleep when you want, if you can wake up when you want, you can sit with yourself when you want without electronic gadgets, you will die peacefully.

One of the natural tendencies for you is comparing yourself with others.  And, whether you compare yourself with the people whom you think higher than you or whom you think lower than you, you are going to fall into the space of powerlessness. If you compare yourself with the people whom you think higher than you, you will fall into the powerless space of guilt, giving up on you, the idea you are not worthy enough; you will fall into all these powerless spaces. If you compare yourself with people whom you think who are lower than you, again you will fall into the superiority complex, arrogance, which is also powerlessness.

Please understand, at least in guilt you will be powerless and you will know you are powerless.  In arrogance and superiority complex, which usually comes to you if you have gone to Business School. No, I have seen in my experience, all the fellows, the business schools somehow destroy people.  Even among my sannyasis I have seen, fellows who have gone to Business Schools, so arrogant, abusive about everyone, about everything.  In arrogance, the biggest problem is you will be in powerless space, but you will not even know you are powerless; you will be thinking you are powerful. The fellows who are in guilt, the moment they hit the psychological problem, they will realize they are in the space of powerlessness. The fellows who are arrogant, only when they hit the physical problem, only when their health breaks down, they will understand they are in powerless space.  All these Business School fellows carrying arrogance, superiority, violence, they will never realize they live in powerlessness, they live in powerless space.  Their health will collapse; then they will start realizing. ‘something is wrong. Why?’

I tell you, whether you compare yourself with people whom you think are higher than you or you think are lower than you, you are in the space of powerlessness and you are destroying yourself.  And you are going to destroy yourself unless you raise yourself, unless you complete with yourself.

“Inner Image”, the idea you have about you, inside you. Most of us have a confused idea. We don’t even have a clear idea about us – what we are and what we want or anything. Anyhow, the inner image, the idea we have about us.  Second, “Outer Image” – the idea we project about us to others. In Sanskrit, Inner Image is Mamakaara – Outer Image is Ahankaara. And, “Others’ Image” – what others expect from us. In Sanskrit we call it Anyakaara. “Life Image” – is what idea we carry about life and others – Swa-Anyakaara. Just understand these four English words; that is more than enough:

• Inner Image – the idea you carry about you;

• Outer Image – the idea you project about you to others;

• Others’ Image – the idea others expect from you;

• Life Image – the idea you have about life.

Now, I am going to give you some of the equations. I am giving you the powerful sutras, principles for life with which you can understand in every situation what you are trying to do. The greatest confusions can be destroyed only by the greater truths. Simple confusions can be destroyed by simple truths! Greater confusions can be destroyed only by greater truths!

If the Outer Image is pulled towards Inner Image, it is called “Peace”.

If Inner Image is pulled towards Outer Image that is called “Success”.

If Outer Image is pulled towards Inner Image, that is called “Peace”. If you keep Inner Image as a base and align your Outer to the Inner, you will be peaceful, renouncing, giving up. But if you pull your Inner to the Outer, that is called “Success”. Keeping Outer as the standard, pulling the Inner to this standard, to this scale, you will be successful. That is called “Success”.

If your Inner image is pulled towards Others’ Image, that is called “Love”.

When your Inner Image stands up to fulfill Others’ Image, that is “Love”. If Inner Image aligns itself to Others’ Image, it is “Love”.

If the Others’ Image is pulled towards Inner Image, it is “Selfishness”.

And when your Inner Image stands up to the Life’s Image, please listen, if your Inner Image stands up to Life Image, that is “Destruction”.

Because Inner Image is always lower than Life. If the Inner Image tries to make the Life Image you carry as reality, it will be “Destruction”. If your Inner Image aligns itself to Life Image, it is “Destruction”. And the Life Image you carry, if your Inner Image tries to align with it, it creates accidents. Means, what is the Life Image you carry? Usually you carry a very low idea about life and others. When you try to make that into reality, you attract constantly accidents in your life. You understand “accident” as just going in a vehicle and hitting and falling. Don’t reduce the word “accident” to just that. Even a broken relationship is an accident! Disturbed understandings are accidents! Life-negative ideas are  accidents! Depression is an accident!

These four completely play with all your emotions, whether you make or break your life, is dependent on how you handle these four. Handling – a clear knowledge about these four is a basic requirement.

If your Inner Image aligns with Life Image, that is “Destruction”. If your Life Image is purified by the Outer Image, it is called “Miracles”. Whatever you show in the outer world is always larger than you are. If this base enters into the Life’s Image, it causes miracles!

If Inner Image aligns to Life Image, it causes accidents. If the Outer Image aligns to the Life Image, it causes miracles, because Outer Image is always larger than life. Outside you go on projecting you are a big guy. If your Outer Image is aligned with what you consider as life, you will constantly be seeing miracles in your life. If all the four reaches their peak possibility, it is Enlightenment.

If Inner moves towards Outer, it is “Success”.
If Outer moves towards Inner, it is “Peace”.
If Inner moves towards Others, it is “Love”.
If Others moves towards Inner, it is “Selfishness”.
If Inner moves towards Life it is “Accidents”.
If Outer moves towards Life, it is “Miracles”.
If all move towards their peak, it is “Enlightenment”.

Understand, the science of all these four image will be the introduction to the IA Level 4. Science of all these four images is introduction to the IA Level 4, where experientially you are able to move all the four in the direction you want, especially to the peak possibility of you. Moving all these four to their peak possibility is “Enlightenment”. You will be having the first introductory sessions, classes, intranalyzing and Kriyas, initiation on aligning all these four to their peak possibility.
