Your own Existential experience is only one, your ātman, self. Everything else is your perceptional experience. If you remember in the dream, is this perceptional reality or existential reality?, you will wake up. In the waking state, if you remember, is this perceptional reality or existential reality?, you will be awakened.

Kenopanishad. The sacred secrets revealed in the Kenopanishad.  The 3rd and 4th mantra in the second khanḍaḥ of Kenopanishad.

yasyāmataṁ tasya mataṁ  mataṁ yasya na veda saḥ
avijñātam vijānatāṁ vijñātmavijānatām || 3||

The 4th verse recite along with Me:

pratibodhaviditaṁ matamamṛtatvaṁ hi vindate
ātmanā vindate vīryaṁ  vidyayā vindate ‘mṛtam || 4 ||

I’ll read out the translation for the 3rd and 4th verse, then reveal the sacred secrets.

He by whom, It is not known, to him It is known and experienced; he by whom, it is Known, to him, It is not known or perceived. It is unknown to those, who think they know It well and known to those, who know It not.

The 4th Verse:

It is truly known, when the Self is consciously cognized and subjectively known to oneself in each state of Consciousness with every modification of the mind and intellect. Through such complete, matured cognition of the Pure Self is attained immortality, amṛtatvam —existence in one’s own Self. By Ātman, the Pure Self is attained real strength, the space of powerfulness. And by Vidyā, Complete Knowledge of the Self is experienced Immortality, which is the true nature of Ātman.

If you WILL no one can deny it, even God cannot deny it, because your will is bestowed on you by God!

Kena Upanishad’s shanti mantra, I was introducing yesterday’s satsang. Let’s recite the shanti mantra and enter into the understanding.

auṃ āpyāyantu mamāṇgāni vākprāṇaścakśuḥ śrotram-athobalam-indriyāṇi ca sarvāṇi |
sarvaṁ brahmopniṣadam mā’ham brahma nirākuryām mā mā brahma nirākarod-anirākaraṇamstva-nirākaraṇam me’stu |
tadātmani nirate ya upaniṣatsu dharmāste mayi santu te mayi santu ||
auṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ||

Two important truths I want you to learn. First, the Vedic way of living, Vedic lifestyle starts with peace, ends with peace. All the knowledge we generated, please understand, we had everything and much more what modern science has produced now. Whether it is jet plane, rocket, missiles, nuclear weapons, chemical weapons, we had everything and much more in Vedic age, Vedic era, but we were very clear – it’ll only be for peace, it’ll only be for peace. Understand, we start peace, end with peace; whether it is rituals, ceremonies, teaching, knowledge transmission, everything, everything, knowledge is only for peace.

Only one big crime the modern day Hindus did, they think – peace is important so let’s avoid conflicts. No! By avoiding conflict you will never be in peace. By avoiding conflict, if you try to be in peace, naturally the other forces will push you, push you, push you to the corner till you become non-existent. Avoiding the conflicts is not methodology for peace.Right methodology for peace, facing it, solving it.

Peace is the purpose, that does not mean that we are afraid of conflicts. Peace is the purpose, does not mean that we are afraid of conflicts. Peace is purpose, does not mean we are powerless to handle conflicts. That is one of the biggest crime the modern day Hindus did, trying to avoid conflicts to have peace. That is why modern day Hindus lost their backbone.

Peace is the purpose, but not avoiding the conflict, but by facing and resolving it.

Seeking the truths of life, praying for enlightenment to Cosmic Energy, these two kindle the whole Fire in you.

agne naya supathā rāye asmān viśvāni deva vayunāni vidvān |

yuyodhy asmaj juhurāṇam eno bhūyiṣṭhāṁ te nama-uktiṁ vidhema || 18 ||

Listen. Agni is the knower of all of our actions and all that is worth knowing in the Universe He knows. Please understand, anywhere knowledge happens, Agni has to be there. Without Agni knowledge cannot happen. All the spaces, planets, where Agni is not possible, knowledge is not possible. The modern day scientist are searching and trying to find if there is a place with is water, human beings will be there, aliens will be there, I tell you, no, if there is a place where Agni can happen, then only life can happen, knowledge can happen, nowhere else. Only where Agni can happen, knowledge can happen, life can happen, nowhere else. Agni, who is knower of all our actions, AND everything worth knowing. Whatever is worth knowing in the planet earth, Agni knows it, He knows it. The Upanishic Rishis are addressing Agni as knower of all of our actions, and all that is worth knowing. Then they pray – “you must take us along the righteous and auspicious path of completion. You must take us…” Please understand, the prayer is not casual, very deep, detailed, you ‘must’ take us along righteous and auspicious path of completion.

supathā rāye asmān viśvāni deva vayunāni vidvān |

You must take us along the righteous and auspicious path of completion, leading us to experience the Supreme Consciousness, the original space of Complete completion.

I can say that this is the best prayer you can offer to God when you meet him personally. This is the best prayer you can offer to your Guru, when you meet him directly.

With this renounced, you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all

Listen! Listen! I am moving to the next line of this Upanishad. Please understand this next line:

तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥
Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Ma Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam ||

The literal translation is:

“With this renounced, you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all.”

Looks very simple moralistic instruction. But it is not! Please understand, if this instruction is moralistic instruction, I would not have even chosen to speak on Upanishads. I am not against morals, but order never comes by morals and discipline in the Cosmos. It is by intelligence and reality that order happens. Please understand, order of the Cosmos never happens by moral and discipline. Order of the Cosmos always happens by intelligence and knowledge, Truth, Reality.

Here, the word, the statement:

तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥
Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Ma Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam ||

“With this renounced, you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all.” Continue reading “With this renounced, you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all”

Dharma declaring its authority by itself is Upanishads

The Upanishadic rishis are declaring, Upanishads are declaring….. I should not even use the word “Upanishadic rishis are declaring”. No! “Upanishads are declaring”! Dharma declares its authority by itself is Upanishads. Without the help of any author, or the authority of any author! Author not only brings authenticity, he brings authority also. Here, Dharma does not need authenticity or authority from anyone else. The person who lends authenticity, naturally lends authority also. When he lends authenticity, he has authority. Upanishads don’t need anybody to authenticate it. So, nobody has authority over it. That is why “Apourushya” – “no author”! It … Continue reading Dharma declaring its authority by itself is Upanishads

When you are in the space of Completion, then what you perceive as you(Jeeva) and everything else(Jagath) is GOD(Eeshwara)!

I am entering into the first verse of the Upanishad. Before entering into every verse, I feel like wipe yourself completely, clean, be fresh, so that this verse enters into you as nectar and starts functioning.

Listen! Listen! Listen!

ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् ।

तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥ 1 ॥

Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath |

Thena Thyakthena Bhunjeethaa Ma Gridhah Kasyasviddhanam ||

The translation:

By the Consciousness enveloped must this all be, whatever moving thing there is in the moving world. With this renounced you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all.

Listen!

By the Consciousness enveloped must this all be, whatever moving thing there is in the moving world. With this renounced you may enjoy. Covet not the wealth of anyone at all.

Listen! “Eesha”! Understand this word. This word means “Consciousness which has all the auspicious qualities, and which is causal, actual material source of everything is, which we may know or we may not know. And, it is not only the source; it permeates.” Please understand, “Eesha” is not just the source of these plants, stones, you, me; it continues to permeate, fill all of us and everything is, even when we are in this form.

Listen! The consciousness is not just the source; it is the base. Not just the base material; it continues to be the base which keeps the material together in this shape. Continue reading “When you are in the space of Completion, then what you perceive as you(Jeeva) and everything else(Jagath) is GOD(Eeshwara)!”

ZERO is not ‘NOTHINGNESS’; ZERO is ‘INFINITY’.

I just can’t control my celebrative mood when I read even one verse of Upanishad. What a beauty. Beauty in words! Grace in organizing the sounds! Never there was so much of beauty expressed in words or the grace organized in sounds!

पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदम् पूर्णात् पूर्णमुदच्यते |
पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते ||

Poornamadhah Poornamidham Poornaath Poornam Udhachyathey |
Poornasya Poornamaadhaaya Poornamevaavasishyathey ||

Just by repeating this one line, I can give up my body. Nothing else is required. Nothing else is required. This one verse was made available to me in my human body is enough; this human body has achieved what it needs to achieve. This one sacred sentiment, this one sacred truth is revealed to me is enough; this human body is useful, it is used more than it can be used. Now it has reached its fulfillment. Anything further, if it is alive, it is a bonus. The cognition, when that gets centered on consciousness, life is love, laughter, joy, and life itself.

Let us now understand how to make our cognition centered on this sacred truth:

‘The Whole comes from Whole and be established in the Whole and gets back to Whole. And even during this whole process, it remains as Whole.’ Continue reading “ZERO is not ‘NOTHINGNESS’; ZERO is ‘INFINITY’.”
