In the next verse, Kṛṣṇa says:
sa evāyaṁ mayā te ‘dya yogaḥ proktaḥ purātanaḥ I
bhakto ‘si me sakhā ceti rahasyaṁ hy etad uttamam II 4.3
He says, ‘I am telling you about this very ancient science of the ultimate Enlightenment or entering eternal bliss, and being My devotee and my friend, you will understand the supreme mystery of this science.’ Continue reading “Bhagawan Krishna says ‘I am telling you these secrets just because you are my devotee and friend, just because you are near and dear to me’”
In these verses from 2.31 to 2.38, Kṛṣṇa works on Arjuna at two levels. At one level He talks to Arjuna at the super conscious plane educating him on what the ultimate Truth is.
He talks to Arjuna about how the undying and indestructible spirit lives on. Here, Kṛṣṇa addresses Arjuna’s fears about killing his svajanam, his relatives, elders and teaches him that what he considers to be the end of life for these people is just one step in their journey.
It is not what you do that matters; it is who you are being that matters. It is your space that matters. Whether you are being complete or incomplete matters. Continue reading “When you feel responsible for everything that happens in your life, you will feel that everything is joyful, because nothing can make you powerless. So, empower yourself with responsibility and unlock the power of feeling.”
Listen! Please come to the space of listening. Many teachers tell you, ‘However much you listen, unless you practice, it won’t help you.’ I tell you now, ‘However much you try to practice, unless you listen, it won’t help you!’
The problem is that we do not trust ourselves and our innate intelligence to respond to a question without preparation. That is why we start preparing the reply even before listening. Whenever we allow our incompletions to wake up and interfere into our thinking or cognition process, listening stops.
Hearing is not listening.
Integrity, the power of words starts with listening, continues with listening. Human beings miss life when they miss listening. For a person who wants to begin the life, the first thing he needs to learn is listening.
Listening is God. Just by listening you experience God! Continue reading “Whenever you listen to you, you listen to others. When you don’t listen to others, you don’t listen to you also.”
The 3rd and 4th verse of the Kenopanishad:
na tatra cakṣurgacchati na vāg gacchati no manaḥ
na vidmo na vijānīmo yathaitadanuśiṣyāt || 3 ||
anyadeva tadviditādatho aviditādadhi
iti śuśruma pūrveṣāṁ ye nastad vyācacakṣire || 4 ||
Listen, the literal translation of the verse.
Where the eyes goes not, the speech goes not, nor the mind and intellect, we do not know, we do not understand, how that Reality, Consciousness can be taught, it is distinct from the known, as it is far beyond man’s finite objective nature, that is, what the mind eyes ears or speech, the senses can perceive and it is beyond the unknown as it can be known by man’s divine infinite subjective nature. Thus we have heard from the ancient masters who revealed and explained that to us.
Continue reading “When your ability to see and visualize fails, your ability to think, talk, verbalize fails, your ability to connect the memory and make meaning out of it fails, when all these fails what can hold you, you should be putting all your time, life, energy to build that chamber in your life, that safe chamber is what I call Nirvakalpa Samadhi”
Whether you understand or not, experience or not, believe or not, you are nothing but ‘word’. Understand. You are nothing but ‘word’. You are just nothing but a word you create inside you about you, about world, about everything. The word you create inside you about you, about others, about everything – you are just that, please understand.
Vivekananda says very beautifully, when he was speaking in the West he says very jovially, “In our country, even if we want to become rich, we don’t go to market and work. We don’t go to market-place. We just go and sit under the tree or inside a cave and start chanting some words, and we become rich!”
Please understand, how much ever you logically analyze, it will not fit. You may think, ‘If I go and sit in the Himalayas, one cave, and just start chanting, chanting, chanting, chanting, will I become rich?’ Please understand, I am not the guy who will spread superstitious things and I don’t speak illogical things. I am not an atheist to speak superstitious things. I am not a so-called irrational rationalist. India is full of them. India has more number of so-called irrational rationalists than the number of rats. Continue reading “The best way to participate with the life without tiredness or boredom is ‘listening’!”
Early Upanishads doesn’t have Dhyana only Shravana, Manana, Nidhidhyasana. Perpetually being in the space of Completion and Powerfulness is Unclutching. Enriching is not business for Me. It is business for your consciousness. Continue reading
A Sannyasi can miss eating, but he should not miss Yoga in the morning! He can miss sleeping, but he should not miss Completion in the night! I am not saying don’t eat, don’t sleep; but all I am saying is, the first priority, when the day starts, the first priority is Yoga; when the night starts, the first priority is Completion. After Yoga have your food. After Completion have your sleep. Because, Yoga itself is an energy supply to your body! Beyond Yoga and meditation if you need a little energy, let that be given through food. Completion itself … Continue reading Yoga and Completion
