Only an enlightened person who is a king, or a king who is an enlightened person, can know the totality of spirituality.

You need to understand that Kṛṣṇa is just thirty-two years old when He makes this statement! Physically His body is only thirty-two years old. But He says, ‘I gave this imperishable knowledge to Sūrya, the Sun god – imaṁ vivasvate yogaṁ proktavān aham avyayam (4.1).’ Of course, this is very difficult to understand! With logic, you cannot understand this statement. With ordinary logic, which you use in your daily life, you cannot make any meaning out of this statement. In the next statement He says: ‘The supreme science, this yoga as it was, appears to have been lost in course of time.’ Continue reading “Only an enlightened person who is a king, or a king who is an enlightened person, can know the totality of spirituality.”

Your body, mind, inner space, consciousness, whatever you feel about you, go on expanding, expanding, expanding! That is the only way life can continue to ooze in you, overflow in you.

Kṛṣṇa says,

Act without attachment. Do not worry about success or failure in results. Center yourself in wisdom of completion that takes you beyond action and the desire for fruits of action. Once you are centered in wisdom of completion you will act wisely. Once you give up attachment to results, you will be freed from the cycle of birth and death and you will be beyond sorrow.’

In the next verse, Kṛṣṇa begins initiating Arjuna into yoga with the second tattva of authenticity or śraddha. Kṛṣṇa is the greatest strategist of life. Here, He begins revealing the truth of authenticity, the strategy of life, the strategy that will make Arjuna succeed and expand!

Every time inauthenticity is allowed in you, it leaves a powerful fear in you

Kṛṣṇa declares, ‘yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam.

Please understand, I first want you to understand these words:

yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam—yoga is authenticity in action.’ Not just ‘perfection in action’ but I am translating it as ‘authenticity in action.’ Continue reading “Your body, mind, inner space, consciousness, whatever you feel about you, go on expanding, expanding, expanding! That is the only way life can continue to ooze in you, overflow in you.”

Kaala is the dimension of universe where universes, big bangs, black holes, planets, suns, moons, stars, everything come to exist, exist for zillions of yugas and years and dissolve simultaneously, spontaneously without time gap chronologically, Now!

KAALA is one of the dimensions of the universe. Like the universe’s 11 dimensions of length, breadth, height, KAALA is also one of the dimensions. Time is a very poor word for Kala. But just for all of us to understand I will use the word ‘time’ roughly equating to ‘Kaala’.

Listen to the definition to Kaala: Kaala is the dimension of universe where universes, big bangs, black holes, planets, suns, moons, stars, everything come to exist, exist for zillions of yugas and years and dissolve simultaneously, spontaneously without time gap chronologically, Now! Now! Now! Meditate on it.

This powerful cognition will make you awaken, enlightened to the cosmic truths, to your existence. No verbalization based excitement, no visualization based inspiration. Allow only the pure Oneness to excite you and push you, drive you to live your life. Deity Alankaram and Goseva are the best lubrication for body to settle down with the new fuel, Kundalini Shakti!

Understand. Shakti, power, can be generated in your system through 3 ways.  Certain words, ideas can generate Shakti, like when you have a hope, thought current, that your future is going to be very rich, brilliant, bright. Bholenath is the one whose pure innocent inner space creates the bliss and causeless auspiciousness wherever He is, wherever He happens!

In the Shiva Sutras, Shiva gives us techniques to achieve this innocence. If you follow Shiva’s life as is described in the Hindu mythological stories, you will not be able to see any social or traditional innocence in him. But there will be the pure and ultimate innocence. The place where he lives or the way in which he lives is not directly related to his purity or innocence. Shiva lives in a cemetery where bodies are cremated, surrounded by spirits and ghosts. The word Shiva in Sanskrit means causeless auspiciousness. This causeless auspiciousness, the energy to create bliss wherever he is, wherever he happens, arises out of his innocent inner space.

In the Vedic tradition, there are scriptural writings called Upanishads. The word Upanishad in Sanskrit refers to teachings of a master to his disciples as they sat with him. There are 108 such Upanishads. They are the essence of the enlightenment science handed down by the great masters of the Vedic times.

One of these, the Chandogya Upanishad describes a beautiful story: Continue reading “Bholenath is the one whose pure innocent inner space creates the bliss and causeless auspiciousness wherever He is, wherever He happens!”

If you can be aware when the prana falls into the heart center every day, you can stop, alter and manage your dreams and deep sleep!

In the day, whatever you do, you call it as life. In the night, whatever you do, you call it as a dream. In the day, if you are not able to do anything, you call it as death. In the night, if you are not able to do anything, you call it as deep sleep.

In the day, if you have three things: experiencer, experienced and the experience, it is called life.

We can take the example of drinking coffee in which there are three elements: the coffee one drinks, the person who drinks the coffee and the experience of the state of drinking coffee. If you experience all these three elements in the daytime, it is called life and if you don’t experience all these three, it is called death. In the night time, if you experience all these three, it is called dream and if you don’t experience all these three, it is called deep sleep.

The moment you start moving towards the dream state, the prana starts coming towards the vishuddhi, throat center. The more you move towards the deep sleep state, it moves towards the anahata, heart center. It is the same in the case of life and death as well. The more you are alive and energetic, the more the prana accumulates and gets centered in the forehead. Listen, the kind of the inner space you carry, is YOU! Listen to the first statement.

The inner space you carry is YOU!

That kind of lifestyle only you are going to attract, that kind of people only you are going to attract, that kind of life only you are going to live, that is the way you are going to be respected, held by others. The inner space you carry is your Life, that is the blueprint of your Life. Knowingly or unknowingly whether you want or not, you will build your Life only based on the blueprint you are carrying, understand! The inner space you are carry is the blue print you are carrying.

From morning till night if your inner space is all about physical pleasures, having or not having, you will only be around that kind of people, fighting with those kind of people, who are fighting for their physical pleasures. They do not know anything higher. Whole day if you are bothered only about others opinion, you will be living in the frequency where people run only for reward, award, noble prize, award, reward, name, fame, noble prize, you will be attracting only those people, you will be living amongst only those people. Blessed are those who experienced utter poverty at least once in life

I tell you, poor man is a man who has never seen poverty even once in life, understand.  I am defining who is poor man, poor man is a man who has never seen poverty even once in life.  Because this country has already suffered in poverty, we are not understanding the richness it can cause, please listen, I am not promoting poverty, all I am trying to tell you is even once if you have not realized poverty you will not have the free space in your being to re-invent yourself, that is why in the science of enlightenment at one point you have to break, renounce everything, be in the street empty handed, till that you don’t own anything, nothing can be the reason for your cognition of  “I”, your “I’ has to be just dependent on “I”, the mind cannot be the foundation ground for “I”.

For that understanding to sink in, at least one year in your life you should have been empty handed, nothing, without anything, no relationship, no friends, no money, nothing. I tell you, that one year will give you the strength to re-invent who you are and I can tell you nine years of my accepted poverty, self-imposed poverty, not imposed on me forcibly.  I may not want to say my Purvashram (pre-ashram) family is rich, but they are decent, they were able to provide food and clothes and shelter for me, that much they are able to do, but when I renounced all of that and family, friends, all the known contacts, everything, that nine years of self-imposed poverty gave me tremendous space to re-invent myself and re-build the new “I” from the space of completion. Unimaginable, unending, inexhaustible excitement and enthusiasm happens on a person who understands death

auṁ saha nāvavatu | saha nau bhunaktu | saha vīryam karvāvahai |
tejasvi nāvadhītamastu mā vidviṣāvahai ||
auṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ||

This great Upanishad, Kathopanishad, Upanishads are the essence of Vedas.  Among the Upanishads, Kathopanishad is Upanishad shiromani, Upanishadasikamani means it’s one of the best Upanishads because the subject it deals is Death.

Please understand, with right understanding Death can become rejuvenation energy, energy which will rejuvenate you.  Don’t think death is always a curse, when you don’t understand, it’s a curse. Actually when you don’t understand even Chiranjeevatva, eternal life is a curse, do you know the Chiranjeevis of the world Prahalad, Markandeya, Hanuman, Ashwathama, in all these Chiranjeevis, Ashvathama was cursed to be Chiranjeevi. Please understand, Ashwathama Chiranjeevatva is not a boon for him, that he will never die is not a boon given to Ashvathama, it was a curse given to him.  Just imagine you are never going to die, you will literally be swallowing tons and tons of depression pills and boredom pills, if you don’t understand life, the life is not understood, life is a curse.  If death is not understood, death is a curse.  If you understand both, I tell you, every time death happens it is a possibility for you to rejuvenate and take a new body. Kathopanishad talks about death, so many secrets about death and how you need to live your life to understand death, have liberation when natural death happens to you. The first statement of Eeshavaasya Upanishad is not only the Truth but also a Technique!

Listen! This first statement, I can tell you, it is just a shock! It is so inclusive and so conclusive! That is why I am telling you, it can be applied immediately as a technique, and it will be realized as a truth any moment by you, understand? All these great truths, sometimes they are truth, but cannot be applied as techniques. Sometimes they are techniques, but cannot be taken as truth. When there is a gap…….

Yesterday I explained some of the statements, like Ramana Maharshi is saying, ‘Nothing will happen without His grace. Only what He wants will happen.’ See, this is a powerful technique if you practice it honestly with integrity; but, I have seen many people exploiting it. Many of these so-called religions people, they will do all the mistake and say, ‘Only by God’s will everything happens. Everything happens, finally, by His will.’

One fellow came to me. He said, ‘I am stuck in poverty. Please bless me. Somehow help me to get out of this poverty.’

I asked him, ‘What is the reason why this poverty happened?’

‘Oh, I have fourteen kids.’

I asked him, ‘You could have been a little intelligent.’

He says, ‘What can I do? God gave!’

No, I just looked at him. I did not ask him any further questions! Now how I am looking at you guys, same way I looked at him. He understood!

I didn’t ask him verbally, ‘Did God come and do everything?’ But he understood! Continue reading “The first statement of Eeshavaasya Upanishad is not only the Truth but also a Technique!”
